Heh yes, but also understandable. Skynet and all that. Do you really think humans would react any differently?
Plus Tali is my favorite character.
Well, that's why humans suck. But I do like Tali a lot. Definitely was my FemShep's little sister. (And something more than that to my BroShep. Heh.)
But you know, if an AI ever asked me if it had a soul? I'd just give the Piers Anthony response, "Only beings that have souls are concerned about them."

I've been looking to start a new series and Sense8 was suggested to me.
Been putting off watching Iron Fist. I try not to listen to the opinions of others when it comes to tv shows, but I haven't heard anything good about it yet. The Defenders trailer looked solid, and I'm excited for that, so I need to watch Iron Fist at some point.

Sense8 isn't everyone's show, but if you try it, I recommend sticking with it until you've gotten through the first season. It is slow. Like, maybe the slowest show I've ever watched.
Iron Fist is not terrible, but it's also not good. It's also pretty short.

Iron Fist is...bland might be the best way to put it. I had no real connection to Danny. His supporting cast were all much more engaging. Colleen, Claire, Bakuto, even Madame Gao were all characters I cared more about than Danny. The Meachums...I dunno.
The show feels a lot like a bridge to get all the Defenders introduced prior to airing. Which I guess I understand, they rushed it and a lot of the fight choreography suffered.
Sense8 Season 1 is definitely something you have to plan on binge watching. You'll never finish it otherwise. Season 2 seems more compelling from the beginning though that might be because I haven't fully focused on it even while watching and my mind could be filling in blanks that aren't there. Or it could be that they don't have to explain as much since they spent a full season developing The Americans [North and South] (Will, Nomi, Lito) and Europeans (Wolfgang, Riley). So they could now focus more on the others (Sun, Capheus, and Nala)
Yeah, Iron Fist is my favorite comic book character. I was dissapointed because it wasn't as good as I wanted it to be, but it wasn't bad, it was just sort of there. Had some cool action sequences, but visually the fights in Daredevil Season one are just more interesting, which is a shame because...Kung Fu.
Think they would have been better served to have the first season just have him in the tournament that Brubaker did be the entire series, and then give him a reason to leave. I mean they wasted the characters they did with minor little appearances where each episode could have featured one of them as the main baddie and just have built up to the fight like traditional Kung Fu movies.
On the other hand, Luke Cage (or at least the first season of it) is rockin.

So far, either Daredevil season 1 or Jessica Jones are my favorite out of the Marvel Netflix shows.
DD Season 1 and Jessica Jones are just great.
Then you have DD Season 2, where the first half is amazing, and then.....blearrgh.

Moving from Punisher to Elektra pretty much ruined the show for me.

Should have never killed Cottonmouth. Diamondback was pretty lame. Their backstory was lame. Cottonmouth was amazing. A big part of the show was presenting Harlem as not just a setting, but a character, and Diamondback was just not part of it. Cottonmouth was.
And then you have Iron Fist, where the whole thing is.....blearrgh.
So I am really hoping that Defenders just delivers for an entire season, because it's seriously been 2 years since they've done so with any of these Netflix Marvel shows (JJ being the last one.)

Iron Fist is great once you get past the sixth episode. Unfortunately that's hard to do. And most of the critics just reviewed the first six episodes so it gets a worse rap than it deserves.
I'm going through Daredevil Season 2 right now. It started really strong, but I am only five episodes in right now.
Speaking of tv, I started Rick and North recently and... it's fine? I laugh and everything but I guess I just haven't seen why everybody is so nuts over it yet. Although my favorite episode was the last one I saw, with Mr. Meeseeks, so it's possible I'm just settling in / it's getting better.

Rick and North? Did your dimension's Morty get replaced? :P
Second season really kicks it up a notch. Total Rickall is one of the best episodes IMO.
