I stumbled upon a reddit community that I never knew I wanted. It's specifically for people that don't play professional music, and collaborate with others to create cool stuff. I gave up pretending I can play the guitar a long time ago, but I still like to sing. It feels neat to be writing lyrics again, and over top of music that actually sounds good.

I would appreciate a link to something you sang on when you have the opportunity

From what I remember, he's been pretty chill about the whole deal. I think he's even done it himself at one point. I think the next step for this is to move on to another Rick Astley song so the URL is different.
My band plays tonight. The bar might livestream it. Go here starting around 9pm PST to see if you can see/hear me. No idea what the quality will be (of either my music or the bar's livestream).
Saw Spider-Man No Way Home tonight finally. Even with most of the obvious spoilers already well out in the open the past month or so, it was thrilling in a few key places. I really enjoyed it. Went to the local theatre by myself because wife and kids were hunkered down at home with a Disney+ movie, popcorn and theatre candy I bought carry out from the theatre a few blocks from my house. When I saw Spidey was still playing, I dropped it all off at home and got the approval to head back out to watch the flick. Definitely worth the snowy weather and late night to see it on the big screen!
