The site Iceman and you(?) were using for rolling dice, that sends you email from [email protected]
I saw on your game thread you were using 2d6 but you need to use 2d6s if you want to separate the result for each dice. At least that's how it works for me.
Nah. Think the reference to my wedding date still works best with that pic.
Besides I'm having trouble accepting a nigh-kid playing the role. Don't rush it on me.
OH IC that is cool yea and Still a little skeptical of the new kid too, did you watch the Torchwood mini it was good, better than the planet of the Dead Dr special
Season 1 SuperHero Bowl Champion of the Heroclix Fantasy League
wow! playing music is cool too! but I don't play one since I was a kid.
and TheVagrantKing, no rush, just curious, lol
Si, Carlos! Music has always been a huge part of my life. First as a listener and then as a non-professional musician (in the sense that I get no money out of it, the rest is absolutely the same as beeing a professional). But just so you know, I've turned to the Dark Side of music... Yeah, I'm into heavy-metal! I've always been!
The playing part started 20 years ago (it was back in 1990 IIRC) when a friend invited me to join his new band. I had a guitar on those days (yeah, every metalhead wants to play the electric guitar - afterall, the guitar is THE main instrument on heavy-metal, I believe), but he offered me his bass guitar in exchange for my instrument. I played it once and fell in love with that majestic pounding sound! So I traded my guitar for his bass and from there on I've joined 6 different bands, recorded 3 albuns and some more EPs, bought 6 different bass guitars (last one arrived last week), travelled the whole country in great live gigs and generally, having a BLAST doing it!
Playing on stage is THE most exciting thing you can do. Looking at the audience banging their heads, raising their arms, screaming to your songs is absolutely... exhilarating!

mmm, I really don't see the difference. 2d6 are t2 dices of 6, and what is 2d6s?? that page that we were using works great, and give me the 2 dices with separate dices. In some posts, Iceman don't put the separate dices, maybe your mean for some of his rolls? For me it's almost the same, but yes I like to see the separate dices numbers.

I still have to watch Day 4 and 5 but it does look to be good. My friend said it just keeps getting better with each day.

Yeah it took me a little while to get used to David Tennent actually. Didn't watch that season for a good while. Then happened to see an episode on tv and thought..wow, it looks pretty good..then watched and finally accepted him.
It's always a little strange getting used to a new Doctor but it's extra-rough when suddenly the Doctor (well, his actour) is -younger- than you.

There is no need to win them--as a matter of fact it's actually a disadvantage.
Yeppers. Due to winning my first game even if I lose every other game leading up to Midseason (which is pretty darn likely), I'll end up being -1- point shy of the figure I want to draft.
One.
Darn.
Point.

Remember, there's that waiver wire thing, in which you can release a non-benched figure after Game 3 of the regular season (before the midseason draft). You'll get the points to draft your new guy.
Unless it's a benched figure (that can be dropped anytime during the regular season), but only gives you 2/3 of the figures point value in RPs.

There are a few ways to work around that:
1. This is the first season with a waiver wire, so you can give up a figure before the midseason draft and get some points that way. Also, you could just trade one of your figures for points--this is traditionally how you raise extra points before the midseason draft, although you'd probably get a better deal through the waiver wire.
2. "Rent" out a figure for a game for points. For example, say Villain Team X's tentpole gets injured in Game 1. You could trade, say, Time Trapper to Villain Team X at the end of Game 1 for, say, 11 points. In return, Villain Team X agrees to trade back Time Trapper to you at the end of Game 2 for 1 point. You have a net gain of 10 points, and Villain Team X gets the use of Time Trapper for Game 2 and doesn't have to play its injured tentpole.
3. Trade your draft position for points. If you have a favorable midseason draft position, you could offer to switch with another DC team in exchange for some points. This puts you in a less favorable draft position, but it could work if the figure you want to draft isn't likely to be taken by someone else. (Presumably, one of the terms of a deal like this is that the team on the other side of the deal agrees not to draft the figure you want.)
