Love me some Plants V.S. Zombies. I've beaten it a few times but haven't played it in awhile. It might be time to break it out as I'm about to finally beat Angry Birds.

A game store I used to play clix and D&D Minis at was right next to a tanning salon that was pretty close to UK's campus. Management was eh, but the scenery, so to speak, more than made up for it.

I'm presuming we'll see a new Starter set this year, but it is a little odd that it hasn't been at least named by now considering that I've already pre-ordered items set to hit stores as late as July.

I was even trying to take some clue as to what it is based on the shiny, watery blue framing of the new PAC, but nothing obvious is coming to mind. Normal flip-flop of starters from year to year would suggest this will be a Marvel year (Blackest Night was last year's, right?) but it's not suggesting a clear theme to me. Marvel's Event for the summer is Fear Itself (at least the last I heard) but I don't know if they'd be going for this as a tie-in.

The gag is to give h20tor bad team-building advice. The aim would be to most convincingly sell the worst possible team to him such that he'd show up with it for a tournament.

Not a style of humor I'm comfortable with, but I don't know the target and I may have an especially thin skin when it comes to the idea of intentionally making someone look foolish and gullible. Still, I hope it goes over as well as it can for all involved -- including h20tor.

I'm sure I could have come up with some teams for it, but I think Get won the thread with that Power Pack team, especially with the 2nd Leach since he's a Unique. If I had enough Lightspeeds, which I actually might, I may have to play this sometime just for fun.

Quebbster had to go and point out the fatal flaw in your team suggestion. I don't know how you missed such an obvious error in force design.

My best guess would be that it is in one of the products already mentioned. Maybe the GL fast forces pack. Even if it had been some unmentioned product there would have been a solicitation from diamond/alliance. Unless somehow they were able to keep comical and all the other stores that post on the realms quiet.
