Since talk is on FF VII, has anyone ever beat Emerald or Ruby Weapon?

Years ago, before my old PS was stolen, I was working on Emerald Weapon, I think I came close, but never could pull it off. Even Mimicing Knights of the Round didn't work!

I have never beaten either of those weapons, though I have bumped into them a few times. Like I had no idea what the red thing by the Golden Saucer was so I ran into and it was the ruby weapon. I lost horribly.

Has anyone played Ehrgeiz? Its a fighting game with Final Fantasy VII characters and a seperate hackn'slash rpg. You can play as Cloud, Tifa, Vincent, Yuffie, Zack and Sephiroth in the fighting part.

I cheated against Emerald and duped items with the W-Item trick. Lucky Sevens works wonders, and is super boring to watch.

As for Ruby, she rocked me until a friend pointed out that she's vulnerable to Hades. So I W-Summoned Hades to Stop him, and then Knights of the Round over and over. Sure, the Hades damage is small, but the status effect more than makes up for it.

And yes, Ehrgeiz is one of my favorite games. Sephiroth is like Superman in that he doesn't kick.

You guys need to see the Tonberries in XI. Each have classes like Summoner, Dark Knight, and I think theres a Beastmaster one too.
They are nutso hard in that one.

I've beaten both weapons. The Emerald one wasn't too hard but the Rudy gave me a headache. With him, i just put all the cool stuff on cloud (auto-phoenix was a must) and hopefully the Ruby weapon didn't take Cloud out of the fight. I was all so sweet fightning the toughest boss one-on-one with Cloud.

Yep I have it... me and my friends got a huge thing on this game... We used to play it all the time... obviously I used Sephiroth... :D

my friend used the girl with the yo-yo... or something like that....
