Did you guys know that there was almost a Wizard World Atlanta? I read about it here:

But, for some reason they decided to cancel because some smaller convention in SC somewhere. This sucks. I would love to have an actual comic convention here in Atlanta. Dragon-Con is mainly for Sci-fi fans. It was a good move on Wizards part to move the con but I am unhappy about this. Hopefully, they will still come to Atlanta at some point.

Sorry to double post, but I had to talk about this.

While on one hand I'm totally bummed about not getting a WW, it would be nice having something on a San Diego scale in my backyard, but on the other hand, I'm glad Wizard listened to the comic community who was standing up for the little guy. So, I guess we just have to suck it up and deal with fatties in chain mail and moronic goth kids for another year, and hope that Wizard will go through with the idea, just at a different time so there won't be the backlash there is right now, so I won't have to go to another Dragon Con again.

In case you're wondering, I can't friggin' stand Dragon Con. But last year Ellis was there, and the year before that Sterenko, so what are ya gunna do?

Dragon-Con is fun but I am not as much of a Sci-fi fan as a comic fan. I have never been to a actual comic convention and think it would be fun.

Well, I came to work today and all the lights were out. I wish could say that I never saw this coming and that this place is a "well oiled machine." But, the truth is it was only a matter of time. It is a complete #### shoot here.
