The funny thing is that I targeted Darq N1, and I thought the riddle was a consequence of me targeting him so I thought he was evil for it, but MSU threatened me with a modkill if I mentioned anything about a riddle or what the riddle was, so I didn't... In hindsight if you were dead I don't see the harm, maybe he was thinking you might be rezzed but still, couldn't you just change the riddle?
the whole point, SL, was that I didn't want the riddle out there at all. It had nothing to do with the riddle itself, it was that I didn't want the idea of a riddle out there.
1) BC I didn't want Wade to have an immediate role claim
2) paranoia.

Everyone, DF was not unlynchable/only could die if his mafia voted for him UNTIL it came down to a lynch majority of 6 - aka, 10 players.
Carlos not voting, others not voting - the town had him in their sights within ONE vote twice and that was with townies not voting.
Only at the end did you need to get rid of Adamical.
(shrugs)
You all call it unfair, I say what Magnito is saying - you all thought 2/3 and didn't push it further.
Always. Push. It. Further.
And yes, Magnito was right. It gives him a big head but he was right.
10 players basically puts it at around the 33% mark of the game (ie: for almost 1/3'rd of the game, the Mafia was needed to lynch their Don).
Yes, people did try to get every vote on DF at once but inevitably someone - not always just adamical - would switch off...and I remember trying to lynch adamical. So plenty of folks tried to push it further...it just wasn't going to happen.
However, there's a telling line in your statement Charlie: "You all call it unfair. I say what Magnito is saying." Ah, so you'll totally discount what a great majourity are pointing out as long as you have one little thread to hang on to as justification.
You run great games. Not all of them are of them are goin to be masterpieces. There may be a reason this time so many folks are pointing out flaws.
"Nobody important? That's amazing. You know, in 900 years of traveling time and space I've never met someone who wasn't important."

I personally think MSU hit the nail on the head when he said it was the loss of the extra Nightkillers way early. Combined with the inter-scum back-and-forth, this could have just as easily been a Town curbstomp with the Mafia complaining about the unlimited rezzings
"Why would the possibility of me being wrong ever stop me from doing something?"

Absolutely. We've all done it. We've all had experiments in our games that were great successes but we've also had abysmal failures. The trick though, as you note, is to learn from them (eg: I wouldn't use a role like Jareth again or I'd not totally derail with "too much oni."). Sometimes that also means swallowing some pride with the crow but it also makes the next games even better.

And sometimes all the balance in the world won't save you from a perfect storm with the actions that are sent in. Never know when two people are going to target a PGO, or when Chirocker is going to turn Rokk into a night 1 PGO. It's all in fun and we learn.
That was one of my favorite roles ever. So much fun watching MSU squirm on the proboards! Up there with Deadpool in Kenny's games, Sirio Forrel in the GoT game, Webstor in Masters of the Universe, The bulletproof SK in IR's Comedian game, I could go on and on... Ahhh so many good roles!

I was just telling Kedryn about the hilarity of Chi turning Rokk into a PGO, never realizing that he was killing himself.
