The eyecon clix tournament is being held in sessions 1 and 2 on the sunday, which is 9am-12, then 1pm-4pm

Only Sgt Grimes, Pat and I turned up last night, so we ended up playing 7 Wonders instead, so the format is still available for whenever you want to run it Cpt Dave.

How did eye-con go?

Eyecon went very well. A lot of fun was had by all involved, and we gave away a slew of LEs as prizes:D A big welcome to newcomer Damien who played his first games, and looked like he had a great time.
The day was won by birthday boy Paddy, who absolutely destroyed everyone in all five of his games. Honourable mention to me (:P), with 5 losses, and an almighty 37 points to my name for the entire day (Thanks big daddy! That hellfire club guard allowed me to salvage at least a small shred of my dignity).
We will be running tournaments like this at all of the major sydney cons this year, Sydcon and Macquariecon

Just a note to let everyone know, I'll be out of town this week visiting family, so Mr_Nobody has agreed to judge clix this thursday. Details of build are unconfirmed at this point, but forthcoming

Good news everyone! Galactic guardians is IN! Therefore tomorrow's event will be a 300points sealed event. i will confirm today, but it is highly probable that attendees will be able to take advantage of a discount for the sealed, or buy singles of the super-boosters as was the case with the gsx release

Why not stick with the 500pt one that was meant to be played last week but no one showed up to play? 8)

So, for example, You could take HA Thor (226) and HA Sif (93) + some asgarian generics, as sif is less than half the cost of Thor.

May 3 – "He's on a whole other level" 500 points golden age, your most expensive figure must be at least twice the points cost of the next highest costed peice on your team
May 10 – “You’ll never guess my secret Identity!" 300 pts. You must include one alter ego figure. If this figure uses its alter ego power within line of sight of your opponent, your opponent scores the points value of the figure. If the figure uses its alter ego outside of your opponent’s line of sight, you score the points value of the figure. Characters occupying the same square as the Phone Booth object are hidden from line of sight for the purposes of this.
May 17 – Infinity Gauntlet 4 – 400pts Galactic Guardians Sealed
May 24 – 600 points Comic accurate, Golden Age
May 31 - "Strange Weather Phenomena" 400points Golden age, outdoor maps only, roll on a table each round to see what strange weather manifests (Ie strong winds, rain, lightning, snow, hail etc)
