Could I use Sargon the Sorcerer's Smoke Cloud ability to swap an Orange Construct with another object?
Quote
ILLUSIONARY SWAP: Sargon the Sorcerer can use Smoke Cloud. When he does, he may exchange any two non-immobile objects in the game with each other, as long as one of the objects occupies or is being carried by a characters who occupies the same square as one of the hindering terrain markers he placed. If a chosen object was carried, the replaced object is carried.
This is the second time this question has been asked since I added it to the op...
I absolutely hate it when people do not read the entire post. They see 15 "pages" and they are to lazy to look through them, or do a search. COME ON IT'S NOT THAT HARD!
There's no indication in the thread title that they should. "Answers thread" suggests a place to post questions. It should have been called "Larfleeze FAQ", which would suggest reading the first post before asking more.

Oh, I see, I have been posting in the threads all wrong. I have been actually reading the threads to see if my question was already answered. I didn't realize that I should have just posted the same question that has already been answered numerous ways. The title of the thread reads Larfleeze Answer Thread, I would think upon reading the title and seeing that there are 15 pages of post, that maybe someone would have already asked the same question as me and received an answer. The first line in the thread states that it is a place for all the questions and answers regarding Larfleeze, why would you not read the thread to see if your question has already been asked?
Well, some people would (You and I) and some people just want a quick answering without doing any work of their own. Calling it a FAQ would absolutely indicate there was good stuff in the first post.
When I have more time, I will go back and add links to the questions without. I have a large paper due Monday, and as soon as I am done with hat I start another accelerated class. I have a ton of stuff to do, and this takes last precedent, but if a question pops up that is not posted, if someone could post here that they are pming me an hen pm me the formatted q&a, I will copy and paste it. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this so far, and I know that this has been a good tool for man people.
Q: What happens if Larfleeze transfers less than 3 to the Constructs/takes more than 3 damage?
A: If Larfleeze is dealt any amount of damage, he can transfer up to 3 damage to 1 Construct, and he cannot transfer damage to more than 1. If he transfers any amount of damage to the Constructs, they are destroyed, even if just 1 damage is transferred. If Larfleeze takes more than 3 damage, he can transfer 3 of it and must take the rest himself. (having trouble finding an RD response, but this is right)
The power doesn't say "transfer". Has this been clarified as actually transferring damage, according to the game-defined term, or is this its own game effect that deals the damage to a construct? If it's not actual transferring then you could give unavoidable damage to a construct.

Unavoidable damage is UNAVOIDABLE. Meaning it can not be avoided in any way.
Just the act of "transferring" damage to a construct would be avoiding the damage. If Larfleeze is not taking any damage from an unavoidable attack by "transferring" the damage to a construct, then he would be avoiding the unavoidable damage.

Mastermind doesn't say "transfer" either. In fact, it reads almost identical to Larfleeze power.
"Transfer" is not a game defined term. Certainly not like "damage dealt", "counter", "place", etc. So, without a specific game defined term, we must default to the common usage of the term "transfer": moving something from one place to another.
So any power, feat, ability, etc that would move damage from one character to another "transfers" damage. And unavoidable damage can't be transferred.
