Looks like we gotta bust out the old infinity challenge and settle this…I'd love to see this done in some sort of saloon type place. Cowgirl hats and all!
Old maps, old figures, old rules. Remember when it had to be Marvel vs Mavel or DC vs DC?
My old Marvel IC cheese team was:
E Firelord 81 pts
E Firelord 81 pts
E Wasp 33 pts
E Wasp 33 pts
V Hydra Medic 16 pts
R Black Panther 27 pts
R Scarlet Witch 29 pts

Well, U Elektra tended to put a hurt on Firelord, if you played her correctly. Even V Sabertooth could get a decent swing in if you positioned carefully. However, you are pretty on the nose.
Vulture: I'll drop you from the sky and watch you drop like a rag doll! Spider-Man: And this'll be when? After Ock rips me limb from limb? Or after Venom eats my brains? Oh, I almost forgot; he also has dibs on my spleen...
Fire lord was a one man army.... he was hard to kill (7-8 clicks) and killed people easy, and was super easy to heal once critically wounded.... 8 defense...
And you could play more than one, and fliers could carry filers and you taxi and shoot lolol....... I still think fliers should be able to shoot range when based tho.
You can only play one Charles, and X has to stay in one area and depend on the team for LOF if he stays in or around that area. He's also free points once someone rolls up on him with a 16-15 defense

Not to restart a whole thing, but your example confuses me. When it comes to multi-based figures, I thought you had to choose one of the squares the character occupies for your action. So, if you used Perplex, via a use of BT, wouldn't you have to choose one of the 4 Joker squares, and draw line of fires from that square only?
Always remember, there is a little bit of NolaN in everyone.

What TheNolaN99 is saying does seem supported by the rules.
From p. 14 of the 2010 Core Rulebook:
Quote
When drawing a line of fire to or from a multi-base character, the player drawing the line of fire can choose to draw the line of fire to or from any one square occupied by the multi-base character.
It specifies that the LOF is drawn from any one square, not any square.
