Second hint: Esak's act of betrayal and his death were chroniclesd in a much hyped original Kirby Work in the mid-Eightes. That should narrow it down some.
For the Steel question the 1st steel is Hank Heywood I, then his Grand son Hank Heywood, and then the most recent and notable, John Henry Irons.
For the Question question, The two Batman enemys to apperar in the series are Lady Shiva and the Riddler.
Why be sweet, why be careful, why he kind?
A man has only one thing on his mind
Why ask palitely, why go lightly,
Why say please?

Correct on all counts. This all happened in the "Hunger Dogs" GN for those who were curious. Esak was a New God who appeared to be little more than 10 or 11 (of course being from New Genesis, he could be centuries old). He was Metron's pupil, and stole/finished his "Mirco-Mark" technology (which also horribly disfigured him) and sold it to Darkseid. "Micro-Mark" was the New Gods version of micro-circuitry and powered all sorts of biological, chemical and explosive weapons as well as various surveillance and crowd control devices. The technology was apparently destroyed after the Hunger Dogs revolted (along with some of Darkseid's elite) in fear the circuitry could potentially destroy them all after witnessing it cause the destruction of the first New Genesis.
