I like setting my telekenetic pple in a row ten inches away from each other so a I can fling someone sometimes ever 40 inches from the back! Of Course this is only a fun tactic and WILL NEVER work in a tourny.
My favorite is mind-controlling wild cards that are next to X-Men to have them give a click to my melee'er that is fighting them - its great to get Hellboy off his money click just to give a worthless click to the soon-to-be remains of Iceman he's in the middle of pummeling.
The one bad thing about some of these habits is that the rules have changed. For mind control, you can still give them an action, but they receive no action token. Second if you use a "taxi" and fly someone in to battle, that guy cannot attack for one turn, THIS COMPLETELY CHANGES THE WAY WE PLAY!
at my venue, we play mosly 400 pt games. most of my teams feature a figure with a long range, one tker, and a vet flash. most people i play against expect me to use the tk to throw the flash out for HSS like everyone else, and with one TKer, it means i have to wait til the next round or following round after tha to get my ranged click out. what i like to do is surprise the foe by running flash out by himself to outwit SS or IMP, then TK the sniper out to fire, then throw a barrier in front of the two of them. Confusion as a weapon!
actually, i figured this one out a while ago. Have a Black Suit Spidey next to E Deadshot. You then surround the two with ranged fighters or perplexers/medics. Thanks to the SS team ability, anyone next to deadshot's brought back, and if Spidey copies it, than deadsho can't be killed either, thus making almost everyone next to them un-killable...unless i've got the rules mixed up and wrong...

Which actually seems to be the case.
The Suicide Squad TA is only activated when someone is knocked out. So somebody will HAVE to die, in order to heal somebody else. Additionally only the figures actually having the SS TA are being healed, no one else. So you can surround Deadshot with a bunch of bystanders and push him relentlessly and kill of tokens as you see fit to heal him back.
Let me begin with the now standard battle cry of "This may not be a nasty trick, but..."
I've played a few games where I had a V Cyclops. On either side of him, I had a E Destiny and E Cylapso. Right behind Cyc, I had a R Invisible Girl. On either side of her, I had a Shield Medic and a Hydra Medic.
The whole point of this is to give Cyclops the best chance to flash fry the target. Between the PC / Outwit / Defend / Support and the Shield/Hydra team abilites it seems to work pretty well.
One unintended bonus is that a lot of players I game against want to smash that group up as quickly as possible. So, they get all tied up doing that while my other Clixs go to town (usually someone with HSS).
Its fun until someone realizes that MC is real handy.
Oh well...
I am in awe of the cool and awesome people here on HCR!

It's expensive and cheesy, but if you can pull it off, I gotta go with the Mary Jane attack.
Take one Superman Ally/Ultimate.
Mix with One JLA/Avengers and One Mystic of choice.
and fill to the top with Mary Jane pogs.
Base the MJ's with any opposing characters using free moves. If anyone tries to break free, they have to kill MJ's to do it, taking a click every time they kill one. Quake won't save them, EE won't save them, PW won't save them, Outwit won't save them, Stealth/Batman/Kabuki won't save them. MJ's a wildcard.
Now, I have never played this before. just read about it on a thread a while ago, but it sounds solid (I might be missing something, if I am, tell me).
And for friendly games, check my tokens for Legion members that work just as well.

Oh, and I've also been known to field an entire team of cheap Superman Enemies (usually LexCorp Battlesuits, Intergang Medics, Intergang Agents, and R Maxima to TK) just so I can Outwit EVERYTHING, including Outwit.

In one tournament I was playing against U Ultimate Hulk. In order to keep him from activating until I was ready, I had R Marvel Girl TK E Wolverine right in front of him (small map). My opponent tried to break away and failed, twice, which pushed hulk into powers. Once he did that I had Wolvie hit him with BCF on a crit for 7, and Marvel Girl hit him with a dumpster, knocking him right past those nasty tough clix in the middle of his dial.

Pulse Wave WILL save them. It will cancel all team abilities and al the MJ's will go bye-bye in one shot, no retaliation.
i run serpant society with either dr doom, annihilus, or hellboy. this allows me to do a running shot or charge through walls or hindering terrain using serp TA. add ultimates TA then you can use the running shot on stealthed figs. nasty trick when they think they are safe in another room.
