BTW- You will find that you can be totally hung up on another woman, and still have a great time with other people. The biological functions all seem to still work and everything. You may even laugh a couple times or find a few things to talk about. Not to make you even more angsty, but you know that the gal you are longing for is not in some nunnery, right? (Unless, of course, she did go off to be a nun, and then that is exactly where she would be at.)

When I flew in to Detroit from Korea this weekend, my "one that got away" was there to meet me. The one that I talked about months ago when we were all trying to dis-wade you from your depression. She works for the Fish and Wildlife Service at Detroit Metro("works" might be too informal a term, she's like a GS-13, so I suppose she manages it or whatever). We haven't seen one another in years and it was great. Spent 30 minutes or so seeing her work area and mainly talking about old times. It was rough hearing about how much she still thinks of me and that she has some regrets too, since y'know, it was her choice that we aren't married with 2.5 kids and a house in the 'burbs. But it was still kind of redeeming to hear it from her after knowing how I felt for the last decade or so. Anyhow, we are both married now and there is no time machine available to undo choices we made, so alas, there is no choice but to make the best of life as it stands now.

And the best of life as it stands now for you involves 2 women next door looking for a hell of a time...

I'm waiting for Wade to get back to me about his level of small child comfort and how old the child is. I was planning on giving him a small primer on how to make the child, and therefore most nearby females, like him immediately. And then I was thinking that the whole thing will probably read like something straight out of To Catch A Predator.
