I LOVE the TV show Gargoyles. The name is totally erroneous. It should be called Grotesques.

I don't think anyone in the show Walking Dead has called them zombies, and in Shawn, there was the whole, "We're not saying the Zed-Word" thing. Maybe those are both honorifics to your point.

I'm not familiar Harry Belafonte's Zombie Jamboree, but since he's very familiar with Caribbean culture, I'm sure he's singing about true zombies.

If I'm not greatly mistaken, jumbees and zombies are two different things.

Maybe it's Mr. Belefonte we have to blame for initially using the "zombie" term all willy-nilly.

Actually, I got that from a college friend who was one of the first Magic players I ever knew.
