Still no baby. Angi opted for epidural approx 30 minutes ago and things have gotten a whole lot calmer. I think both shoulders are going to be bruised for awhile from her latching onto them.
She is asleep now. Hopefully baby starts getting evicted within a couple hours!

If my baby was this late, I'd be looking very suspiciously at vlad.
Still no baby, but dilation is getting to the proper amount and she is doing great.
Looks like we'll be here at least another 24 hours. One of my clixer buddies is a county sheriff deputy on duty tonight, so I asked him if he would bring by some clix and comics. He said "No way am I getting caught with clix and comics in uniform going up into the hospital."
My next suggestion was that maybe he would be more comfortable bringing in ribs and donuts.

And I'm assuming he was there the next minute with them?
I have a pail of water and some double-A batteries.
I could use some triple-As myself. My headlight went out when I was biking today, and I ended up crashing into an unseen ditch while making a turn, and I got rather scratched up. Actually lost feeling in my arm and everything. Thanks for the memories Afghanistan!
Yep. I just slept a full 47 minutes for the first time as a daddy!
Quincy is amazingly squirmy and strong and aware for a newbie. I may have underprepared myself and the house. He can almost lift his body up and move at the same time. And he is super aware of location and voicesr! Could be trouble.
He was born at 9:23 last night, weighed 7lbs,7oz, and was 19.5 inches long.

I would love to insert a generic, tired comment about how that will be the last sleep you get, but I hated (and still hate) that schtick, so I will simply leave you with a hearty congratulations! There really is nothing like realizing for the first time that you are a father.
