I like how you've represented the Fountain of Youth effect - long dial with tapering values, with lots of regen. The Conquering Foreign lands trait is a nice touch. It adds so much flavor to the design.
i thought it'd be a nice nod to older design and net a really long dial for only 60. the was an attempt at a "consolation prize" for not getting to pick the map, and add flavor by playing into the historical role of the traveling conqueror

Oh well at least they didn't kill off Aquarian and we got some fun action with Morbius, Jack Russel & Jennifer Kale.......oh and Simon Garth!
yeah it's a shame he was such a throwaway character. i mean, if an immortal can't handle a little zombie bite, whom can? apparently the answer is aquarian. he "got better"

Null Field: Aquarian can use Energy Shield/Deflection. Other characters within range must be given double power actions instead of non-free actions. This power cannot be countered.
Hehe, That is an elegant way of portraying his Null Field and when you count in his formidable defensive powers I'd love to see a one man army try to deal with Aquarian.

glad you guys like him. pacifist characters always require a little work to make work, so i tried to ramp up what he was good at and give him some clear nerfing roles along with the survivability to soak the enemie's ire. watch out for that last click surprise. it's involuntary, i swear

The Unknown: At the beginning of the game place a James-Michael Starling bystander token in any square closer to your starting area than any other. While James-Michael Starling is on the map, Omega can use Willpower. If he is KO'd, deal Omega 1 click of unavoidable damage.
Force Bolts
Erupt In Violence
Model X3Z Biospheric Energy: Omega can use Pulse Wave. If a friendly character is in the area of effect, he can use it as a free action. For each friendly character within the area of effect, increase Omega's attack total by +1.
Protarian Humanoid Prototype
Sreneskian Warrior Caste
Psionic Link: James-Michael Starling can use Shape Change, succeeding on a result of 4-6. If he succeeds, you must immediately place Omega in an adjacent square so that Omega can be a legal target of the attack. If you cannot, KO James-Michael Starling.
This is a very interesting design. The PW power is cleverly designed. The as free action aspect stands ripe for abuse. Wording it to increase the result of the attack roll means it is not bound by the rule of 3. Throw a Superman Blue on the team and say goodnight Gracie. Placing it end dial is what keeps this thing in check though and well in balance.
Little John-Michael's shape change power is pretty, so pretty. Again, I really love the self-checking mechanisms that have been reoccurring throughout the set. This is another great example.

Cool, I wanted Jimmy to be liability to protect, but one that still provides incentive to do so. His sc sp is helpful for placing omega if you're willing to gamble the attack, so your placement of Jimmy as bait is all on you
The PW sp is harkening to his "spirit bomb" power that kinda blew up his last planet by drawing on too much life force, so I thought of representing that as a last ditch (read: end dial) pw that incentivizes friendly fire, but also increases the chance of them getting hit with each inclusion so that it's less of a gamble and more of a calculated price
As an old Defenders fan I know how Omega and Jimmy's story ends. He's a bit of an oddity and I never did read his 2007 revival series.

That is a nifty little piece of game balance, but that perplex is evil, evil, evil. What a great temptation to put him in harms way!

I like the click of red down the middle. The damage special power is nice and the attack special power is perfect for La Espada de La Justicia. Well done.
I am not sure the damage SP works as worded; since he has never "made an attack this turn" during an opponent's turn, he has a flat +2 to defense which doesn't feel like the intent. Maybe it is and he's supposed to be rocking a 19 that is Outwit/Outsiders susceptible, but I think it should be
"At the end of your turn if El Aguila did not make an attack this turn, he modifies his defense value by +2 until the start of your next turn".

Good call Hawk. I missed that. I believe, changing turn to round would work. It is an official term in heroclix, and there is precedence for effects keying off of 'rounds' and not 'turns'.
Yeaaaah, as a Power Man & Iron Fist fan this is a real treat. El Įguila is a great swashbuckler and although he tends to show up infrequently he's got tons of charisma.
Also he's a hidden mutant, back in the 80's when the whole war on mutants was going strong El Įguila passed off his power as tech in his sword.
I really want to run him with Swordsman, Black Knight, Night Master, Kal, Valkyrie, BVS Wonder Woman, Katana, Gamora annnnd maybe Leonardo.

shades of lian? And as you know how their respective stories end, you'll know why omega only rated toughness

Ha ha! I had a good tickle with the over the top flavor text. For some reason, an emphatic reading of his super sense text in Antonio Banderas voice gets me every time

Definitely a timing piece, and his pseudo incap from a low bcf roll will help his tempo management even more

Another bronze age hero, another ohotmu poster child and subsequent sculpt art. I'd love to see marvel's zorro in plastic glory. And yeah, he joins whirlwind on the shortlist of rare muties that's never stepped foot into an X-Books
I was quite surprised to discover the accent mark on Įguila! I'd been mispronouncing it my whole life

Wingspan: Blue Eagle can use Charge and his speed value is locked. If Blue Eagle has moved half his movement value or less this turn, he can use Combat Reflexes until the start of your next turn. If he has moved more than half his movement value this turn, he can instead use Energy Shield/Deflection.
Divebomb Tail Spin: STOP. At the beginning of your turn, move Blue Eagle up to 2 squares, deal 3 penetrating damage to an adjacent opposing character, then KO Blue Eagle.

Hehe, Nice little nod to the death of Pinball with his STOP.
Oh Blue Eagle I have to admit of all the Squadron Supreme JLA ersatz you really weren't given much of a chance to develop a personality.....but your based on Hawkman and that counts in my book!
I like his charge special paired with quake, it makes him a proficient formation breaker and who can say no to the choice of combat reflexes or energy shield/deflection?
