Truth to tell, I was engaging in exaggeration - the symbols are passively ridiculous. They would be hard pressed to step up to levels of active ridiculosity.

I want to know what the rules change are! What the card looks like is secondary. ( I DO LIKE IT THOUGH). I want curves going to drop10. I want my AV Res Deck to get some help.

I have mentioned this before if the rules changes dont do something about those 1 of decks with 3,4 and 5 teams in there I am not going to spending my money like I did before.

Just clarifications for the new symbols and how certain game rules are being interpreted.

The new rules changes have already been addressed by Yip in another thread and they have absolutely no effect on multi-team decks.

Well I will still play but I wont "try and keep up with the Robertsons" anymore.

I am a comicbook fan so when I see decks with Checkmate, VU, IG and such all mixed in with EOME it just takes away from the comicbook fan player.

I think that was one issue CHDB was right about, despite my personal feelings on the issue ( I couldn't care less). A lot of the players in my area left because they hated the post enemy meta.

did they take their Enemies with them? Because I only have 6, I need some more...

Post X-men the meta sucked for a lot of reasons. It wasn't Enemy that made it suck. That was back when Modern was still two set, and silver still had Web and DMS as two of the sets which limited the card pool.

The new modern format extended card options have solved alot of the meta problems that cropped up because of the limited card pool. I mean all of the 'busted' Enemy 5+ team-up decks are still around, but I don't see them run around here anymore. What are some of the decks that you feel were problems? The biggest culprit I remember hearing complaints about was the the burn deck, whose name I can't remember.

It's hard for me to remember specifics because it was never an issue for me. But the underlying common denominator was that it stopped feeling like a super hero game to them. I feel like ude has done a lot since to correct ( Mobilize ) these legends sets ect. are fanboy wet dreams but it's a litttle to late for the ex-players in my area. They have moved on to other things. The only reason I brought it up is because these guys ribbed MV a little bit and these are the players this game needs the most. The ones who play for the love of the characters.
