I of course love Tactics & have beaten it twice. I would like to recommend another Tactics-type RPG to you. It's called Vandal Hearts & its for Playstation 1. It's very similiar to Final Fantasy Tactics in gameplay. It's got a cool story, great characters & it's fun to play. It is however a bit easy. THere are only 3 levels (from the main story) that are really difficult. THere is a subquest that presents some challenge, but you don't need to do it. Anyways you might wanna check it out. It came out before Final Fantasy Tactics & really was one of the first games to get me into Tactic RPG games. Of course Fire Emblem games are great as well.

Does anyone else have a DS, or is getting one solely for FF3? Its my first FF game that I shall play to the finish.
I borrowed FF9 but I got stuck on it, near the tornado, Like I screwed myself then saved it, so literally couldnt move on.
No offence but FFIX is probably the easiest of them all, and that bit is still on the first disk. *Looks around and then screams*
Lucky I bought a ds recently. I never knew it was an actual game, I thought it would be 2d just redone but I was surprised when I saw like actual graphics
I love how in FF8 Squall's lucky to do 3000 damage with a critical, but his ultimate attack does over 170,000 easily.
LOL, this comment kinda came out of nowhere.
FFVIII was probably my least favorite FF game. Don't get me wrong, it was a good game and all, but it just couldn't hold my interest like the other FF games. I beat it once and I haven't played it since, and thats been a good 6 or 7 years ago.
I remember talking to some kid I was coaching (yeah how geeky is that) and he's like "why'd you tell me to get the Lionheart? It only does 310 damage." And I responded with "Keep it, you can do 170000 with it." I can only imagine his reaction.
