hey, i have nothing useful to contribute today unfortunately, am unsure about the rogue agent claim however i'm not familiar with venom's modding style, i think if i was modding the game i might throw a role like that in just to shake things up but am not sure...
He wouldn't have been able to receive any gifts though....unless this jailkeep does not prevent the person from being targeted (that is how I do my Jailkeeping - NO ONE can target the person).

If he was jailkept he'd have sent in his action, and being jailkept he would have failed.
Maniac's argument is that 'caque wouldn't have received a gift if he was Jailkept. I'm assuming 'caque meant his gift was a doubling, and I know many mods allow a doubling to go through Jailkeeps and RB's, so there is no problem with a last minute RB'ing stalling a night phase while the mod waits for a second action.
"Why would the possibility of me being wrong ever stop me from doing something?"
Let's ask Maniac - Maniac, can you clarify your power?
Why would Maniac's power help. He's basically claiming to be the Jailkeeper. It's the Encourager who would need to clarify, and I doubt he'll be stepping forward.

I have never actually seen that in any game. Your defense of it is quite interesting though.
*shrug* I do it. I even specifically say in the role PM "You cannot be RB'd or MD'd". I don't like having to wait for actions. Stan taught me that... I know he does it that way, too.
