now that HCRealms is providing a price range for the figures (found in the units section), maybe we can use them as basis for our pricing.
Maybe in the future, but no, right now the prices are overbloated. And there are a number of figs not even listed. Moreover, TCGPlayer isn't the most reliable price gauge for collectible stuff.
Compare (as of this date and time):
HOT Spiderman
Unit Section - $17.99
Troll and Toad - $11.99
AN Wonder Twins
Unit Section - $12.99
Troll and Toad -$ 5.99
GSX Gambit/Rogue
Unit Section - $12.99
Troll and Toad - $9.99
CAP Quasar
Unit Section - $27.99
Troll and Toad - $12.99 ($10.99 w/o Card)
CAP Kitty Pryde
Unit Section - $22.99
Troll and Toad -$11.99 ($9.59 w/o Card)
SM The Bat-Man
Unit Section - $18.99
Troll and Toad -$14.99
SM Imperiex
Unit Section - $17.98
Troll and Toad -$12.99
Just a few examples of how the disparity in price ranges are. So, no, until that unit section becomes more reliable, stick to Troll and Toad.
grabe naman kasi Troll and Toad. taga sa shipping. hahaha!!! dun sila bumabawi.
Agree and you should also consider a few points....
1. Troll and toad may have X item listed at X price but with no stock so that listed price may actually not be accurate. Same thing goes for X item listed at X price but with tons of non moving stock which may be a sign that the listed price is too expensive.
2. Completed Ebay auction prices ( NOT THE BUY IT NOW PRICES ! ) should also be taken into consideration as I feel they are the more accurate gauge of a particular item's demand / price
3. Shipping from the US for buys/trades should also be taken into account when considering the value of a particular clix. It may sell for a particular ammount but cost extra to ship/trade for.
4. Demand and rarity of the item is also a factor as you will be able to find a DC75 Ares SR very easily compared to trying to find a Horseman Con LE or Crisis Superman Chase or even any of the colossals....
Hmm despite everything, I believe it's up to you, how much you want to sell it. As long as someone wants to buy from you, and both of you feel happy with the deal...

Tama si Doc, more reliable ang completed listings ng ebay than any other site. Troll and Toad is notorius for overcharging sa shipping. So prices dun ay usually + 12 dollars or more pa.
Pero tama rin cla pat and charles, kanya kanyang style nlang yan.

Yup. Quite true. My advise is be consistent in the price guide you follow and not change from eBay to troll and toad depending on which site will Gabor you.
We should have a price guide for our local deals......
we sort of have an idea (by we i mean all the players in manila) of how much things should cost, with obvious misnomers. Our prices are dictated naman by players and how much they are willing to sell a product, for example weapon X in troll and toad is $70+ however here it's around 2-2.5k. A cause of many people wanting to sell their weapon X

Exactly. Supply and demand is not the same in the US and here. For example, Rohjaz here is 2k to 2.5k right? In the US (Based on completed listings on ebay) his auction ending price is from $16 - $24 (mga 700 to 1,000 pesos?).
I've been transacting with troll and toad for 5 years now - their prices are good but do not indicate the real market price because they have a big mark-up on shipping.
Also echoing doc alvin - when you do your market research on ebay - use advanced search and check "completed listings only " and "auctions". Don't use the "buy it now" prices because this is usually 25% higher than normal price.

I also agree with this. As long as both the buyer and the seller are aware of the real prices of the product. If you choose to buy at a higher price because it is convenient, then that's ok - at least it's an informed decision.
***shameless plug*** - My vote for best prices are Patrick and Doc Alvin. Wala akong masabi - fair prices.
