Very excited that I get to play in a HC tourney on Sunday. Need to bring 2 400-pt teams, one all bad guys and one all good guys.

I have the Loki and Red Skull chases from AVM that add up to 390 pts. What do you all think?

I'm Jelly...but I got the Chase Skrulls (or soon depending on how inept the Canadian postal service). So not too jealous.

I really like that Loki though. How well you'll do...dunno...depends on what you'll face. Maybe play the Soul Gem to round out the team to get some healing in.

Actually this is an unrestricted event and the HoT Loki (which I also have) is 208 points and seems even sweeter than the AVM Chase Loki.

(I never get to play, BTW. I am totally excite about being able to play!)

HoT Loki is good too, problem I see is that if you're only playing two figures that Mastermind is kind of wasted. It comes down to preference though.

If its restricted might look into adding the Phone Booth, to get AVM Loki to that second click (If you decide to play him that is) To make sure Red Skull's Pulse Wave goes off.

This I don’t understand. Words change and gain new meanings over time. The word ill is a good example. It used to mean sickly, but then a white rapper used it to describe his style of communication and bam, the word started to take on a new meaning. I know you’re thinking, “But Stan, you’re retarded. That word went from a negative connotation to a positive connotation.” Point taken. What about the word dumb? It used to be a somewhat scientific term used to describe people who were mutes. Somewhere along the lines, kids started using it to describe other kids, then random objects. “This Nintendo game is dumb.” Why did no one make a huge fuss about the word dumb? Maybe they did, but no one heard them? Does the inappropriate use of that word get your panties in a bunch because it pokes fun at people who can’t talk? Not likely. The word dumb has been misused so long that it now has an additional definition in official dictionaries. Many other words did the same thing. Saying something is retarded/gay is the same in my eyes. The word now has a new meaning in addition to the original. Gay even went from meaning happy to homosexual. Words change meanings. Using the prior example, a video game can’t be homosexual or happy. It also cannot be mentally challenged. If you can’t use context clues to tell the meaning that’s being used at the time, then I don’t know what to tell you. Please note how I didn’t say that if you couldn’t tell, then you were retarded. That would be offensive.
I wonder how much money Survivor brings to those parts of the world by hiring local workers.
