Seriously, this lynch doesn't seem weird to anyone else? We've got info put forth. We've got time, it's a weekend phase, and the accused hasn't responded. If it were two hours from the end of the phase, I'd vote all things considered. But we're close enough for any wonky voting mechanics to really futz with things. Even if mal is Caster, a response from him will tell us more than a rushed lynch. Well, it would tell us more about him and his master.

Mal's master is dead. Unless, he picked up another master but the write-up doesn't seem to indicate that.

I'm actually with I_R on this one... we should at least give Mal a chance to respond. Especially with a 48-hour phase. I'm also curious whether Darkstone actually knows Mal is Caster or if he's basing that conclusion on other info (obviously I don't want him to answer that right now).

That said, I'm certainly on board for this lynch, and if Mal really is Caster we might have a tough time lynching him while his tentacle monster is running around, so I don't want to wait until the last minute.

tl;dr Mal, you've got until this afternoon sometime to respond before I put my vote on you.

I can say that I'm 99.9% sure that Stan's vote does not count.

Oh, and can those more knowledgable of the theme delve into a bit whether or not they think there is a Mafia, and who would be in it?

Not sure why a PL update will help. It keeps changing and adding new strangers.

Mafia would likely be Kotomine and Tokiomi along with their servants Assassin and Archer (the latter is who made the kill last night)

It's possible the elder Kotomine, who is portrayed as a crooked referee of sorts is also involved somehow.

Day Four

"The Sword"



The armored woman holds aloft her sword. The invisible air surrounding it dissipates, leaving a gleaming yellow blade. Faint lights appear all over the water, the last dreams of every dying soldier from past, present and future. They fuel the blade and the armored woman thanks them for their sacrifice.

As the monster draws near, she calls out her sword's name and unleashes it's power.

"EXCALIBUR!"


Shielded by his monster, the bug eyed servant can only see the brilliant light shinning through.

The clocktower professor paces back and forth, deep in thought. A black mist forms inside the hotel room. The professor prepares to defend himself but then realizes he has nothing to fear.
