For the upcoming storyline, I love how there is a B6 template residing right in the middle of the board, because it means there is always a guarenteed place to set up MDFA's, and with artillery being made slighty less accurate, it means a game more about controlling tempo through other means.

The idea: Abuse terrain as much as possible and drop large targets with the power of the Rose.

Raiden all stay with the Hadurs, in back if possible, to provide opposing units from scoring easy kills. The Elemental star moves forward with the Rose and the Sylph. It may not be the fastest army in existance, but it reminds me of an old Battletech CCG card, Relentless Assault: "The bigger mechs take awhile to get going but once they're up there's no stopping them."

I'm glad you kept the Kite Patrol - I just love the idea! You can actually cause mayhem in a dust storm with this if your opponent leaves a TD set up without supporting units in base contact, since you can surround the TD and stop it deploying at all! Rare, but funny if you can pull it off! :p

While I love the Centaur BA in Saxon, many others will tell you that a TTL will do the job a lot better if you are just out for Artillery.

You could sub the Sniper Teams for their bigger namesake - the Sniper Artillery Piece - if you can keep the base clear, that 3 inch Pog is frighteningly accurate - in fact, here's a suggestion that may suit what appears to be your style of play;

Right, you've got an infantry screen of some of the nastiest BA around - EBAs are a great line holder. The Snipers can pom-pom all day should you choose, while Kites can either protect your line or moe out and base stuff. The Vapor Eagle (Clan name for Goshawk) can work in concert with them. Yes, I know there are only three Kites, but this gives you some solid infantry so that if the ATVs come a running, you can always just Capture the little blighters.

You can reshuffle until you get a fourth Kite back, but I don't think you really ought to, otherwise you are asking for pain from infiltrators. You might re-jig the Infantry screen to make a Fenrir/Saxon Drop with an EBA and RBA to back it up, or you could have a Cardinal with a pair of Snipers or EBA inside - even Undine, since they are pretty tough.

Crash, have you considered dropping one RBA for a Grey Death Battle Armor? Y'know, the :^^^: Kell Hound one with the Anti-Personnel? Could be useful, and would bring you up to 600 on the nail. :)

I had thought about it, until I realized that I see more Shamash vehicles and fewer ATV's being played around here, so AnP is less effective than normal.

And I like fielding Galaxy Pure forces.

Quick question..why is elemental so much better than the gnomes? I went through their dials last night, the gnomes keep their armor piercing longer, have the same number of clicks and gain improved targeting. The elementals keep their jump jets and have 1 pt higher defense. Why elementals over gnomes?

Okay, this is a pretty simple proposition.

First, EBAs are faster - 8 speed versus the GBAs 7.
Second, that higher DV is useful.
Third, the sculpt is waaaaaay better - the power of Mojo should not be underestimated.

Seriously, though, the difference between GBA and EBA has always been personal taste - GBA keep their firepower longer and do have that sweet IT reroll when on their last legs. If you want to remain defensive and are expecting the opposition to come to you, GBAs are a good way to go :)
