Please tell me that the new She-Hulk sculp for last looks like the Vyrne She-hulk in Fantastic 4 uniform and that the scale is not tooooo big.
Are you my best friend? I'm a huge Byrne fan, and I've been waiting for a She-Hulk in her blue/black 4F uniform since the very day I found out about Heroclix. Still waiting...
The She-Hulk in this set (so far) is from the FF run in 2013. Love the book and team, but damn it, I need my Byrne Shulkie!!
Or, instead of a malicious, unsavory assumption we can take a look at this set as really leaning into the Captain/Sidekick team building structure? New game mechanics and the lessons learned from low pointed, naked dials dependent upon others to operate as a team.
I just came here to chime in and say just this, because I just realized it. The long dials exist so that the Captains stay alive longer and buff the Sidekicks. So, at first, the long dials seemed undercosted, but those figs are meant to be played with a bunch of 3-click Sidekicks.

Well, that just got dropped. I can't say I love the Foundation kids, but if this gets me new versions of Power Pack, then bring it on! Love Paibok, the teachers of the Foundation, HERBIE, & the Primes being classic versions of those villains. But Legacy Cards, holy crap!! Being an old timer since IC, I have a feeling I'm gonna enjoy these cards!
But these long dial pieces are so bare that they may not actually upset the balance too much. We won’t know till we play it out.
*GASP*
“What do you mean, these dials are CLEARLY the END OF HEROCLIX”
Please keep the hyperbole to a minimum. Every set has cries of power creep. Every set. The game is evolving but I can tell you through my unboxing I wasn’t set upon with fear that the game can’t survive an 8 click figure entering the fray.
Maybe every set has cries of power creep because every set has power creep?
This set is like Alpha Clix meets XXS. My favorite pieces are the Skrulls and the villains. The other dials are kinda bland, and I don’t really see much power creep here. The raw numbers are solid and the clicks of life are plenty, but there’s not much in the way of power combos on individual dials, as someone else pointed out.
There's always calls of power creep. It's partially because of the power of first impressions, since no one can really play the figures, only theorize. Which is fine, that's everyone's prerogative.
But I think this set is getting an even worse rap because of how the recent Rules Changes happened in the same week AND people are still a little sore about the House of X changes (sculpt changes, increased price) and everyone's kind of mixed it all together into a 'Wizkids can't do anything right' mentality. It's unfortunate timing I guess.

MY DAD THINKS I'M ENTIRELY TOO POSSIBLE: POWER: If there is no d6 on this card, roll a d6 and place it on this card. // When a character within range and line of fire rolls an attack roll, you may remove the d6 from this card and replace a die in the roll with it.
