OK we've talked about Asuka, now can we talk about "Cesaro the Show Stealer"? I fully expected that match to be the second lamest match of night 1, and just...wow.
And to be fair, I was wrong about the first lamest match too.
I'm not gonna lie, I went from not being sure if I wanted to click on these outside of curiousity to being heavily invested. B.A.D. Big Air Dylan is looking super sharp out there!

Sadly, I cannot talk about it as I have not seen any of the matches.
However, since Cesaro is capable of putting on a great match, I am not surprised to hear you say this.
So much work to do for school grades and lesson planning, but dammit, I am not gonna do anything tonight work related.
I mowed my patchy jungle of a yard tonight for the first time this year, and it felt darn good
Tomorrow is out professional day where we get to input grades and no students. WE have a new grading software that was made specifically for middle and high school. Us elementary school teachers are less than thrilled. It is so much more work than the last one and not intuitive at all.

We keep getting new "great tool for you teachers" software systems also, yet we keep the old ones in place for the same reporting that they were used for. So we basically end up with 4 or 5 software programs a day that we'd use- PowerSchool, PowerTeacher, Skyward, Planbook, E2020/Edgenuity, Google Classroom, Illuminate, yadda yadda- because some administrator who sits behind a desk all day already thinks it'll be great for our school. Usually this means "It sounds great for our district PR" or "it gives us a tool to keep an eye on our teachers if we want to find some excuse to discipline someone", as opposed to making anyone's life easier.
And keep in mind that NONE of those programs I mentioned above actually help teach, model, etc. Those we have to find and subscribe to ourselves. I use online and data projector stuff A LOT, using PowerPoint for notes often, but also Duckster, Quizizz, Study Jams, YouTube, and many more, whether we are in person or remote learning.
Reminds me of the Army quite a bit, at least when you're down at a Battalion or Brigade level when all your own internal sections, plus every level of command above you wants "this easy new reporting requirement" to be filled in for them. Without getting rid of previous requirements.
Pulled a DJ Doom today with the Time Platform, didn't get to play Heroclix, but, feel like I'm winning.
That's an awesome pull! Well over $100 value for cost of one booster?
There's a new player and trader on HCRealms that has a JLU Atom SR he will trade for me. He was basically willing to trade it straight up for my extra Silver Surfer Rare from Fantastic Four. Since he was so cool to talk to, I've added about 100 extra figures, from several CUR sets he hasn't gotten yet. Quite a few good ones too, but they don't do me any good sitting in my trade box when I don't play or trade around here anymore! Figure it's about $100 in clix and S/H for a roughly $50 piece. Hopefully he uses them.

There is so much stuff out there I find that I use whiteboard.fi (online whiteboard), and nearpod for pretty much all of my lessons. Flipgrid to change things up. Blooket for educational fun. Google classroom because it is easy to provide resources and provide a personal blank copy of something for the students to fill out.
I text the parents all the time now and found that deepl is the best way to translate into Spanish instead having to call the language line all the time.
Lately I went completely old school and when it is time to grade student work, I write it down on paper or record it in an excel spreadsheet.
Just before I came here I was talking to the STEM teacher and we were lamenting that, "It's April, we're tired of looking at black zoom screens. Turn on your effing camera."

Look at Hoff out here being the hero we don't deserve.
Don't oversell it I have TONS of extra clix taking up a pretty large amount of space, and if I can get rid of dozens of them at a time I will do it. When we had a strong local playing group, there was always a new guy or gal coming into the game that I'd trade or donate hundreds of figures to help them build an army up, for a fraction of their value. Without that, and since I stupidly am still collecting, I need to get rid of some stuff!
