Well, I was researching J'onn for a message board-based rpg and that bit of info lodged into my brain. Would have had a question up sooner, but the recent ice storms have been playing havoc with my power and DSL. Anyway, without further ado, the new question.
Name any five heroes shown as Justice League members in Justice League/Justice League Unlimited whose comic counterparts have never been members of the Justice League.

Eh, I haven't an answer to the question and I really don't know if the Vigilante is or isn't or was or wasn't a member fo the recent team. I just recall him being in an issue or two. I haven't read consectative issues of JLA since Grundy decided he wanted to be immortal and tried to sacrifice Red Tornado, in his new human form, in order to achieve his goal, and Red, as always, blew-up.
Must not have been a Justice League Unlimited fan, then. There's lots of other examples: Hawk, Dove, Mr. Terrific, Dr. Mid-Nite, and Atom-Smasher, to name but five.

I think I watched all of the first season, before it became "Unlimited", and a few of the "Unlimited" episodes.
There are probably even five more that I don't know about.

Al Rothstein was a JLAer in that incarnation preceding Grant Morrison's JLA run.

When our story opens, the Question is investigating an impossible locked-room murder mystery involving a midget and a 6'6"-tall call girl into heavy bondage. Don't worry, I'll explain later. It's all vitally relevant.
