Well, another spoiler...

Thanks to Squirecam for coming out tonight to play at Sci-Fi. It was just the two of us, so we played "family style" - no time limit, play until you beat your opponent into total submission. It was great.

I have not been able to play AT ALL in two months. I constructed my team at the last minute wanting to FINALLY get to play M&M pieces - other than Jean, I don't even know who these people are. As far as Jean goes, why is she so ugly?

The only thing going for me was achieving "team" status. I think this was the first time I tried to assemble a theme team.

I think our game ran approximately 90 minutes. I finally lost (hold on Cassandra!) and enjoyed every minute.

New DC set means I crawl out of my shell and go to the events, I especially love the conditions on two of the weeks. NO MARVEL SETS!!!! woohooo! oh yeah there is one 600 point event where Starro is legal, oh yeah baby!

This line had me confused though:

There are three 600 pt events one of them is a 75% Floor?! Wow I hope the Antimontor pack is out by then

Just to let everyone know, there is no event at LSOM This week.
We will be back 2/5/08 6pm 300pts. constructed for the Charles Xavier LE.

The specs listed for the Wizkids tournies is refering to 4 dial colossuls. However, Sentinel, Sinestro, Dark Pheonix, Jean Grey Pheonix and Starro have multiple point values so that would translate as "multiple dials".

Makes sense, good thing Starro's low end dial is 600 points and still kicks major arse! But now I'm torn....Starro or Spectre? Starro or Spectre? Hmmmmmm.....

From anyone else this would sound like powergaming... from you, just trying to figure out who you love more. Gotta love the guys who play because they love comics!

I hope no vegas players will bring starro or spectre out for these events.

Its hard enough playing against them with only 30 points of feats. To make a team that can be diverse enough to beat a KC team, then a lamp team, then a starro/spectre is too much.

I hope not to see any starros....or must I be forced to bring a Galactus??

If I am going to shell out $120 for the five membered member then I'm getting my money's worth!!!! 'sides I play to have fun! WK is structuring Weeks 9-11 so you can bring out the big boys why not use them? Week 9-10 is DC only(9 is a 75% Floor 10 IS DC only), so maybe the cosmic cheesehead can pop up week 11.....

I guess for week 9 or 10, someone could just bring warbound, 2-3 barrier figs, underbuild, and outlast Starro.

Starro ignores terrain, he rubbles it.

Week 9 it's looking like Anti-Monitor to keep in with the 75% Floor Requirement(that is if he's out by then)
Week 10 Starro or Spectre
Week 11 Starro or Spectre (whichever Colossal that wasn't played in week 10)

Don't hate the Colossals why spend the money if we can't use them? Underbuild and hide? Not very sporting either, if you play to win use whatever cheap tactic you want, I'm playing to play.
