Why pink and aqua blue?

I had more fun at the Falcons game than I did at the Tech game. Granted their is more money being put in to make sure you do have fun. Are all pro games like that? And when I say like that I mean where they try to give you a show for your money. I am not a Falcons fan but I will route for them if they are not playing the Dolphins, Raiders, or Steelers.

Gotta come to the defense of my Jackets...OF COURSE you had a better time at the Falcons game. Probably for one (if not more) of the following reasons:

a. no emotional attachment for the team
b. professional players should put on a better performance than college
c. no ability to purchase alcohol during the game
d. it was against Wake Forest

And the reason for hating Chan Gailey is simple. He coaches Tech like they are a pro-football team. I hate the bend/don't break philosophy he uses, college players (unless you are Miami/FSU) aren't at the level to play like that. He also does not teach the basics very well (again, in pro ball you should know the basics). SEVEN offside penalty calls against Clemson, teach the kids better or pull the kid out.

But I'm sorry you did not enjoy the game. I'm happy they won, since I'm not expecting much against UVA, Miami, and UGA. But at least we are bowl eligible (can you say Poulon Weedeater Bowl).

Oh, and if you really get the JGPhoenix this early and want to get rid of it, I'll cut you a check for $46. I have not ordered mine yet.

That is my point though: the team did not execute. A coach cannot be blamed when players do not run plays correctly unless he is trying to do something that they are just unable to do. If he does not use the talent given to him that is one thing but the penalties are stupid mistakes made by the players.

I think he is doing pretty good.

Sure if you want it the Phoenix is yours. Mine should come in today.

Not all Pro games are geared like that. Blank made it a point to get the fans more envolved due to the lack of team following.


I'd say he's done a good job.

The lack of team following is due to the fact they've sucked for so many years. Never had back to back winning season!?!? That's crazy! He has followed the typical 'if you build it, they will come' scenario and has been successful...as long as Vick is healthy. Win and people with be enthused, and for that I am greatful.

The Dome still bites the big one, though.

champions 11/11:

Minimum 5 characters per team, at least 2 characters over 150
Feats and BFC may not be used.

Scenario: Extreme Power

Play will be as normal, but the following power combinations will be allowed:

Cripple: Flurry + Incapacitate
Sharpshooter: Running Shot + Ranged Combat Expert
Plague: Poison + Exploit Weakness
Overpower: Hypersonic Speed + Exploit Weakness
Mortal Strike: Charge + Close Combat Expert
Clarivoyent: Probability Control + Super Senses
Mindblast: Psychic Blast + Ranged Combat Expert
Triage: Perplex + Support
Vaporize: Destroy an object or wall and leave no rubble
Marksman: RCE + Multiple Targeting
Onslaught: Mind Control + Psychic Blast
Psychic Link: Any team ability requiring adjacency no longer requires it. Wild cards may not be used for this.


Use of any of these powers gives the figure using the combo 2 tokens and inflicts pushing damage. Powers can only be used by figures with no tokens. In the case of Clarivoyent and Triage, the tokens will go to the user of Prob Control and Support respectively

All powers are optional and must be declared.
