Sabretooth is great, but why no toughness? They only gave him a seven click dial. If he gets hit he's going down pretty quickly, and regen will make them try to target him again, if possible, just to keep him from healing.
Other than that he's awesome.
EDIT: Looking through the dials thread it looks like dials have gotten shorter again in general. In the old days a big part of the game was getting in the first hit because after that most opponents were useless. Soon it's going to be about getting the first hit because most opponents will be DEAD.
Trait - The Phoenix Reborn: Once per game, when phoenix would be KO'd, instead heal her to click number 8. Damage - Phoenix Resurrection: Phoenix can use support. After actions resolve, heal her of damage healed by her use of Support.
Still not Cosmic Spidey busted, but could be fun to try out.
I understand your perspective. But you can't tell me that a picture of a baddass looking monster crushing someone on a cover of a comic wouldn't grab attention. I know itsd grab mine. But with your logic fielding a sentianl army is going to cost the same, but that's okay?
The most Sentinels needed for a 600 point team are going to be 3. There are two different combinations of two that will also get you a 600 point team.
It will take at least four frost giants if you use the 300 point dial for one (and highlander is a reality for many people. Yeah, you could play the 300 point giant twice, but many people will not want to do this and Wizkids knows that).
Not going to argue any further, but bad math is bad.
I can see the Frost Giant being competitive in 300 point games. Can anyone else see it?
If you are good with your positioning and you know the right time to push (and you should with him), then I can absolutely seeing him steamroll opponents. There are people that just aren't prepared for that kind of power.
Phoenix- it would seem that someone made a mistake with her team ability. I'm pretty sure she has X-Men and Power Cosmic. Not Marvel and Power Cosmic.
Apocalypse- I think there is a mistake with his trait. Should be his "powers and combat abilities" not "powers and combat values" can not be countered. Not sure how you counter a combat value.
The two super rares per brick thing kind of makes me sad I'm still not sold on only getting eight boosters per brick. thankfully I ordered two 75th boosters along with mine though!
And if the only duo I really don't want is the gambit and rogue one. So I'll let you know.
why do people keep throwing around rumpled of more chases though? Anyone believe this? I'm pretty sure that if all of Spain didn't get one then they don't exist.
I'm sure that in WoS the 4 Spidermen were supposed to be chase figs but got downgraded to SR status at the last minute. That's why they have those bronze tags and LE number status. The same can probably be said for the duos in GSX. I guess enough people complained that the chase rarity was watered down to keep the fans happy.
2 SRs per brick really does bum me out though. Those colossal figs had better be worth it.
Trait - Psionic Entity: Onslaught can't be the target of other character's Incapacitate, Mind Control, Penetrating/Psychic Blast, or Perplex. Attack - Reality Warp: Once during your turn, as a free action choose two single-base characters within range and line of fire and place them in each other's squares. Defense - Heroic Sacrifice: When turning the dial, stop turning the dial when this click is revealed. When this click is revealed, an opponent may KO character(s) they control of 100 or more total points. If they do, one of those characters deals Onslaught 1 unavoidable damage. If they don't, Onslaught can use Impervious. This power can't be countered. Damage - Xavier's Dark Side: Onslaught can use Outwit. When he uses it to counter a standard power, you may counter all other powers with the same color as the chosen power on all opposing characters within 10 squares and line of fire.

: P.
I agree on all three points HOWEVER Is it a shame that THIS Apocalypse does not have Mind Control...for you know his Horsemen's Mind Controlled brains
