We ended up playing 300 points sealed out of whichever sets you wanted.
DrGirlfriend came first, myself second, BB_downunder third and BadManKhaine fourth. In the very likely event that Arkham isn't in by next thursday it'll be a 500 point unrestricted game. If Arkham is in, we'll play the sealed.

Just bring the 500 point team. I would assume that they still don't have them....

None of the stores in Melbourne have it yet either, So I would not hold my breath on any sealed anytime soon

The winner was Sgt Grimes with a Gotham City team, followed by BB_downunder with the Avengers, myself with the Infinity Watch, and BadManKhaine with the Rogues.

Next week will either be an Arkham Asylum sealed, or a Hypertime sealed - buy one starter (at a discount cost) and play all of the characters contained within.

I guess you could do worse, but personally I'd rather pull Darkseid... or vet Hawk...

For cost effectiveness yes, but if we are playing with everything in the starter supes is much better.

... eh, I don't know. I think that Darkseid could still take him to pieces. Outwit and Psychic Blast should punch through Superman's defences while preventing a Charge.

No word re: AA suggests it is simply not available yet.

Could not really justify coming in for a Hypertime Starter game. Would prefer to leave work early for the AA release, if and when that hapens. Don't play enough to be sentimental and I REALLY don't need more old models. Darkseid or Supes - Nightwing & Swamp thing, maybe U Catwoman would have all been fun but probability suggest these models would be unlikely pulls.

Curious to see how it turned out though...

To just about everyone's shock and surprise, Arkham Asylum finally came in and we played our sealed!

Competing tonight we had BadManKhaine, M.O.D.O.C., M.O.D.O.C. Jnr, Pat (who pulled another chase figure), Sgt Grimes, and myself. The M.O.D.O.C.s came in first and second.

Next week will be the Hypertime starter sealed game - $10 total entry fee gets you a Hypertime starter plus cracked boosters for prize support (probably AA). Play everything in your starter! Current ruleset (Fantastic Four).

Went in to the TS today and got 6 boosters. Not a brick, not a case.
Just 6 boosters. Pulled Despero, Batgirl and Jay Garrick. Not too shabby.

Shame about the Wizkids thing. No wonder product and support has been so iffy...

Tomorrow will see the end of darkseid's tyranny.
