And, btw, all I can say is "Wow." I'm not reffering to the news from Topps, but rather that you, Jake, have been on for only a very brief period and are already willing to go ahead and commit yourself to this extant to try to save the game. I am trully impressed.
On a more selfish note, we all know that the Prize support for AA is all done and ready to be shipped. And I know nothing has been officially finalized about what to do with what was supposed to be Jan's support. And I don't know if you even have any say to what will be happening to it, but if so, I was hoping that, as a show appreciation, maybe Topps could be convinced to send them out so that we could run the last few events at our venues the way we want. I mean come on....I've never looked forward to an LE more than Henchmen. And to be so close and have it snatched away...
What I want to know is the future? Is Hammer of Thor releaseing? I imagine that it's all sculpted, painted, dialed and everything, so would Topps REALLY throw away that much money, when they could just release it and make MORE than they put in?
What will be the last set?
Oh and...
HELL YEAH
Contrary to popular belief, I do know what I'm doing
Yes we can save Heroclix! You know, there are plenty of places here in Michigan that could be picked up for a song, with all the labor you could stand. Our unemployment is on the high side. The manufacturing could be done right here in the States!

Honestly, Jake, I wonder if you and your cadre of die-hards wouldn't be well-served to hit up HERO Games for at least partnership, considering this is pretty much their niche anyway. It'd probably be a lot easier to generate the capital if you had a gaming company who's already A) well-known and b) suited to the superhero genre. Yes, the contracts might have to be renegotiated so HERO couldn't throw, say, the DCU into Champions, but I think it's a good place to look.
Also, one thing I'd say is to get the WK_Goon password from Seth for the SomethingAwful forums. I think you'd like Batman's Shameful Secret, where we've also been grousing over WK's (frankly not unforeseen) death and ruminating on what it's going to mean for the game.
