As shown, there's clearly something not right with the Mushroom Kingdom. After all, Bowser is missing, and bad as he is, we can always count on Mario to beat him in the end. If Bowser isn't in command of his troops, there is something amiss!
Thus, I recommend we create two teams of 3 people each.
Team 1, the Advance Pipe Investigative Team, would break into the locked pipe and scout ahead to find out what's going on down that way.
Team 2, meanwhile, would hijack the airship and use it to travel to Princess Peach's Castle so that we can recruit Mario and Luigi to help us find Bowser, and restore the regular routine to the Mushroom Kingdom. In the process, I have suspicions we'd find out something about what's going on (possibly why we came here first) and maybe, just maybe, get Bowser on our side. After all, he's proven himself willing to team up with others in the past if it fulfilled the long-term goal of getting rid of threats to his future rulership of the Mushroom Kingdom.
Thing is I think Mario and Luigi are inside the locked pipe...it seems basically the army is going to kill each other off with the whole Mechakoopa and Bowser split among them. I think this game is going to be basically like the Exiles where we need to fix each reality.
Splitting the party is a headache for the GM at any given time. So I'm all for it.
How do you want to split this up?
Probably Pax, Charles, and Space Jawa can go to the Ship...and JKLantern, TBB, and Myself try to get the key for the pipe? Pax has the ship and Charles has the bean so any of us are interchangable from there with Space Jawa...
I say we send Pax, JKLantern, and Wade down the pipe, while Boy Blunder, CharlesX, and myself take the ship to Princess Peach's.
And while we're at it, I say we send the 1UP shroom with the pipe team. We don't know where that thing's headed, so we don't know if they'll have any opportunities to get more of them, and they might need it. Should probably send the bean with the pipe team, too.
I've been a capable lock pick in the past, so yeah, I could go in on the Pipe Team. Wouldn't mind having some slightly muscly back up, but the boat team is probably more likely to run immediately into a hairball.

Well, I think first and foremost we need to ruin this army. So get to attackin'!
Then I do kind of like the splitting into teams idea. Probably best to split so that stats are evenly distributed though.
That's what I was trying to aim for with the Pax/Lantern/Wade and Boy Blunder/CharlesX/Jawa split, though if someone knows a better way to split it, please speak up.
I still say we send both the 1UP shroom and the bean with whoever goes down the pipe.
Hands off my shroom. I disagree that it should go down the pipe, as the team that hits the air ship is the one we can be sure is going to get into an immediate fight, and is most likely going to need it. We don't know what is down the pipe. Bean should go down the pipe, as a beanstalk doesn't do us any good already in the air.
I think Pax should just grab a hammer and break the lock on the pipe.
Most of us are 1xp away from leveling up. Here is what I propose.
Those that can, level up. I suggest that Wade ups his muscle, as with the exception of Pax, and to a degree myself, we are on the low side with strength. After leveling, Pax, Wade, and Space Jawa hijack the airship. They should have enough strength to take the ship by force, and SJ's attribute will help take command once they do. He also has a high enough intelligence to fly the thing.
JK, Charles, and I will take the pipe. This is also a nice balance, considering we don't know what we are getting into.

I'm gonna give the finger to a bullet bill, with the intention of luring him towards me, and then dodging him, causing him to strike the Chain Chomp. (Intelligence + attribute for the dodge)
