It's a bye week for Brady so I am finally starting Cam Newton today. We'll see if he can help me beat Team Phantalien. (Although Phant should probably beat me this week as my Ogre team isn't very good.)

He pulled it during the Oakland game, Cam has a good match up today So is a good move. I drafted him in our rookie draft for our keeper leagues.(Thank good, as Manning is out..UGH!!) And hes been my star thus far.

That's right, he's in Nebraska isn't he. Ok, I take back the real men watch NFL comment. No pro sports teams there so college football is all you got. I can understand that as here in KY we just have college basketball. (Which kicks off very very soon) GO UK!

We have Pumpkin patchs!! and... errrmmm... Corn we have LOTS of corn... But the good news is we have no traffic and low crime rates..

We have pro sports teams thank you, Im only about 3 hrs from KC.

One thing about the colleges here is the focus on Academics, We have two of the top twenty on the academic all american lists with the Cornhuskers having the most BY far of any school in the country including Ivy league schools.

I think South Park nailed in in regards to college sports. That's all I'll say.

As a former College Athlete they dont even get close to what its like, You forget the nearly free education. I would have not been able to go to school if it wasnt for the schoolership I got, and what did I have to do to get it? Play my fav sport and have fun.. Oh boy its so close to slavery...

I'll have to try to catch that episode.

What sport did you play? And what I mean is that the school uses the athletes to get a crap ton of money. And all they need to do is give you free tuition? That's a fair investment considering what they get in return. I'll give you a rather small sum of money (in the grand scheme of things) and in return I get millions in tv contracts and other licensing). Personally, I hate how the schools give the athletes such a cushy ride for being, in large part, a waste of space on a college campus. Not all athletes, but many of them are as dumb as a pail of nails. Is it literally slavery? Obviously no, but they sure got a nice system working in their favor.

I like potatoes. There are so many different uses for them.
