I absolutely love the latest album from disturbed, and frequenly have it on in my car. But I usually skip The Sound of Silence, because their cover just doesn't do it for me. I think the majority of people love it, though, at least according to my newsfeed on facebook.

Do you like Disturbed's first album? If so, how does this compare?

I do. This one feels like overall it's a bit more hopeful and less angry than I would normally expect from them, especially the songs The Light and Because You're Mine. Both of those are very good songs, though. The Light might actually be my single favorite song of the past year.

There's still enough angry to the cd that my friend calls it my "scary music" if I have it on when she's in my car, though.

I can report that no mice have been sighted in the past week. Operation "Seal up every ####ing possible entry/egress hole in the walls" has been successful.

Bud and CL's gloryholes are gone also, unfortunately, but maybe they can set up something in the barn the next time everyone is over here?
