Shadow of the Vampire holds a weird place in my movie watching lexicon.

My wisdom tooth removal procedure back in maybe ‘02 or ‘03 was a long and difficult process. My bottom wisdom teeth were growing literally laterally, meaning they’d never come up for air, and the top ones were dire tilt behind my back molars. Needless to say, they all had to go, and when I made it back home, I was heaaaavily drugged.

This was the condition under which I watched that movie. I retain precious little, other than the fact that DaFoe was top notch as usual and I’m pretty sure both Eddie Izzard and Cry Elwes were in there. I honestly don’t know if the movie was itself very trippy and unsettling or if I was just high out of my mind.

Dial seems fun, but I’m so far past my time with the game itself that I have no idea. I just wanted to share my story. Thank you.
