I like the fact that Texas and USC are going to play. I think that it will be a great game. It will have to be better than last years championship game.
I just don't think that Notre Dame should be able to play just based on who they are. The Wins is what is important, not the way a team loses. If that was the case I could say that the windy day that we played LSU caused us to lose so we should be there too.
I just don't think Notre Dame earned their spot. They are a good team though.
I agree about bragging rights but do you really think that UGA/Tech is a bigger game that UGA/TENN or UGA/FL or UGA/Auburn. I don't. And I think that that is because these teams are in the same conference so it means more if you win or lose.
I copied this from the Auburn forums and thought it was an awesome idea:

and now, what my "perfect world" playoffs would look like....
16 teams; all 11 conference winners and 5 at large entries and seeding determined by today's Coaches poll.
---------Home----------Away
1.USC (Pac-10) v. Arkansas St. (Sun Belt)
8.Georgia (SEC) v. 9.Miami (at large)
6.Notre Dame (at large) v. 11.West Virginia (Big East)
4.Ohio St. (at large) v. Boise St. (WAC)
3.Penn St. (Big 10) v. Tulsa (C-USA)
5.Oregon (at large) v. 22.Florida St. (ACC)
7.Auburn (at large) v. 14.TCU (Mountain West)
2.Texas (Big 12) v. Akron (MAC)
one can dream. sigh. There are some interesting matchups there...

I think this would lead to some good games. I still think taking the top 16 is the best way to go and having No.1 play No. 16 and so on is the best way to go but this could lead to some good games.

I wouldn't say it's a bigger game but it definitely stings the most if UGA loses it. That type of game make a 1-10 season a successful one if the one win is against your rival.
Well, I don't like your Auburn, Oregon, and Miami picks....they didn't even play for their respective conference championships.
And no way AU and Oregon should be seeded higher than UGA.
I didn't make this bracket. But, I don't disagree with it. Auburn, Oregon, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Miami are the at large bids. I don't think that Akron, Tulsa, or Boise State have any right to be there either.
The reason he has Auburn ahead of Georgia is because that is were they are in the coaches poll (I think it is the coaches poll). It came out this weekend.

For my tourney I still say that you take the top 16 teams. If you win the SEC championship or the ACC championship or any other for that matter the odds are good you will be in the top 16. Unless, you have a situation like Florida State who is ranked No. 22. I think that the top 22 would normally work fine.
Oops, never mind Oregon, PAC-10 doesn't play a championship. Other than USC, the Pac-10 is weak and I still wouldn't have them up there.
Neither does the Big 10 but two of there teams managed to sqeak into the BCS games. I still think that Ohio State is a better team than Penn State. But, they don't have a bowl game either. If they did then one of these two teams would be out because they would have fallen 3 or 4 spaces in the rankings. Same goes with Oregon playing USC in a championship game. Like I have said, either all conferences should have a Championship game or none of them should.
Build a 500 point Marvel team and a 500 point DC team.
High roller picks his team and both players use the team from the universe chosen. Each game will involve 6 relics for each universe such as the Green lantern ring and the lasso of truth. These will be randomly picked and distributed on the map and can be picked up and used by either team. Specific rules will be revealed before the tournement.
Unrestricted.
Feat cards must be on the same universe team as the set it came from. Example: In contact with oracle on a DC team only.
I didn't watch the trailor. I can't download videos at work. What does in look like. This is the movie that I am most afraid to watch next year because of what I have heard about it.
Phoenix is back (or Jean Gray at least). Angel and Beast are there. Looks like a building war between Magneto and the world. He is shown addressing a buncha mutants how they are the evolution, yadda, yadda. Lotsa scenes by a lake, I assume they are trying to fetch Jean. There are also a lot of scenes of devastation, crumbled building, flame shooting to the sky...it seems reminiscent of the "Days of Future Past" storyline. Plus, there is Prof X's voice over which I seem to recall him mentioning something about different futures or future paths or something like that.
Some bloated SOB just started running his mouth to me on another forum. We were talking about what a new hulk figure might look like and he started running his mouth to me. What is wrong with these people. I told him that I would beat his ### if I ever met him. I am just mad about it.
