oops. Thanks Dillie-O and Des for pinting out my mistakes.Mental note.Check befor inserting foot in mouth.
I was wondering though.Someone mentioned that Buron+Silver/Gold+Begone Knave=a otk How is this possible?
i think it was somthing like, Have like three boruns on the field, attack with one, bring out gold/silver attack with gold/silver activate begone knave, gold/silver returns to hand, attack with another borun, borun goes to hand special summon silver/gold ect... i think..
No, its not foot in mouth CardmasterCD. I just want to give props were props are due.
Duelist of the dark has the OTK concept down. Use Begone Knave to bounce the heavy hitters and then use the Dark Reamers effect of discarding after an attack to trigger the re-special summoning of a Dark Realmer. Since they've been special summoned again, they're free to attack. Its more brutal than that episode of Yugi when Yugi slashes Weevil up even after he's lost all his life points.
<shudders /> I sense a disturbance in the force... 8^D
we have but Im curious as to Ninja Duelist's take on the card once he has an opportunity to test it out.
I haven't tested this card out yet, but I would love to display some of my thoughts on it. Here we go!
CYBERNETIC ARCHFIEND
Looks like the Archfiend family has a new younger brother! He brings in a new level of drawing for the fiends! I personally would enjoy seeing this card on Fiend decks that involves a lot of Theban Nightmare. Usually, after he attacks, you’ll eventually end up in card disadvantage. So, he can help out by making up for lost time.
Now, I’m going to be honest. I personally think that this cards’ effects are a little too strict for me, but I am willing to try it out in my deck. If it didn’t say anything about its self-destruction at the end phase if you have a card in your hand, then he wouldn’t be too bad. However, despite this drawback, he still isn’t too bad.
Now, that may not be much of a drawback! If he’s destroyed, two things come into place in exchange:
-Necrofood
-Ability to search for a Lv. 3 or lower Archfiend in the presence of Pandemonium
So, now that I think about it, it’s better than I thought. So, I’ll probably test it out later (after testing out a few other cards like UFOroid for fun), but until then enjoy the abilities of this card.
BTW, this card looks really cool, doesn’t it? I thought so.
the idea behind an OTK would be to minimize the amount of cards necessary to play at one time.
Considering this idea is revolving around Begone,Knave, its a good thing Makyura is still offlimits.
As it is you would need
3 Begone, Knave
overkill, but you want it fast.
3 Buron
This will be the trigger to keep recycling that monster discard.
3 Ultimate Offering
You cant depend on getting 3 Buron on the field at the same time, but with 1 Buron and one activated UO, 1 Silver/Gold, you can begin the flow
With both traps activated, you attack with Buron and discard Silver.
Silver is summoned via its effect, Buron goes to hand.
Attack with Silver and it goes to hand.
Pay 500 to summon Buron and attack. Discard Silver
Silver is summoned via its effect, Buron goes to hand.
Attack with Silver and it goes to hand.
Pay 500 to summon Buron and attack. Discard Silver
Silver is summoned via its effect, Buron goes to hand.
Attack with Silver and it goes to hand.
Pay 500 to summon Buron and attack. Discard Silver
Silver is summoned via its effect, Buron goes to hand.
Attack with Silver and it goes to hand.
For 1500 LP, the payments of Ultimate Offering, you have just attacked 8 times. 4 x Buron(1900)=7600, 4 x Silver (2000)=8000.
the trick is to accomplish this while your opponent has a clear monster Zone. Not necessary as 1900 and 2000 can take care of the majority of monsters that will be seen.
And Dark Hole is back off the ban list, folks.
I would suggest concentrating on 3 copies of either Silver or Gold, but not both. The remainder of your deck needs to be divided between card thinning and searching (Reload and Card Destruction, etc) and heavy duty clearance. NOT Heavy Storm or Giant Trunade. Those will screw up your set Ultimate Offering and Begone, Knave.
3 Solemn Judgments, MST, and 2-3 Dust Tornados would be ideal for the backfield. Mass monster removal wont be as big an issue with the effect that Begone, Knave provides. Face down threats like Cyber, MoF, DDWL, and IFL will be more troublesome.
And of course trap negators like Jinzo and Royal Decree should be first on the assassination list.
You know, all this UO, special summoning and swarming is making think about reviving my first fiend deck, pushing a fiendish swarm. Things have changed A LOT since then and you could really abuse a few things.
Originally I used Ultimate Offering and Skull Knight #2 as a way to get a lot of the heavy hitters out of my hand in a swarm. More than once I had the Dark Ruler and a Summoned Skull out in the same turn. 8^D But combo what I've learned and who we've added to the ranks and you could drop a Last Will before the special summon and bring a Goblin King into the mix. Now you have a Dark Ruler, Skull Knight #2 (due to effect) and a Goblin King at 2000 ready to go to town. If you're stocked up a bit more you can get some more fun going.
I think we might be on the verge of a new deck archetype here. Swarming with the addition of empty hand/top decking. Who cares if we don't have a hand. We have numerous cards out now through CRV that assist you for top decking, and one of them is a fiend with a sturdy defense. Dark Realm beasts hitting hard. Bring a Flash Assailant (props to dragon-reborn) into the mix and Serial Spell your Bait Doll for double trap trigger PLUS recycling of both cards (quirky little ruling) and you're going to town.
You guys are slow. I've only mentioned Begone, Knave! about 4-6 pages ago. -_-

Begone, Knave! + Berserk King of Dark Realm - Buron + Military God of Dark Realm - Silver/War God of Dark Realm - Gold = 6400 damage!
1. Attack with Silver or Gold. (Silver/Gold returns to the hand)
2. Attack with Buron and discard Silver/Gold. (Buron returns to the hand)
3. Special Summon Silver/Gold and attack. (Silver/Gold returns to the hand)
And not only that, but Begone, Knave! can also serve defensively...
Me: "Oh, you have a Tribe Infecting Virus in your hand? Not a problem... Activate Begone, Knave!"
1337: "What's that do?"
Me: "This..."
My turn: Swarm - Attack - Return to the hand.
Oppenent's turn: Summon - Attack - Return to the hand.
My turn: Swarm - Attack - Return to the hand.
Rinse and Repeat. (Might as well through a Card of Safe Return and Forced Requisition into the mix as well. ^_^ woot!)
I believe Des has also mentioned that Ulitmate Offering only gives you normal summons, not special summons so the OTK doesn't work since it's Battle Phase, not Main Phase.
I hope you don't mind me asking, but what are the effects of Silver, Gold and Baron? I know what Begone, Knave! does, but I haven't stayed too updated like I should. Sorry.
Ok, so that wont work. we need an effect that will allow repetitive summons during the turn player's Battle Phase in order for Buron to get summoned over and over.
yeah, Im slow.
*sigh*
I think Im going to give up trying to work the brain right now.
The fiends got me into the semi-finals of today's tournament, I lost out to a Chaos deck in the end, the only one in the top 8 in fact. (My friends were playing a Tsukoyomi abuse and a Gren maju da Eiza RFP decks). It means I've qualified for another tournament next week though. I won't be useing the fiends for that though, I want to bring people to their knees with the power of nature this time
Things went well in general today, Slate Warrior was having a field day, I flipped it so many times I've lost count, at one point taking down a Jinzo that his compatriot had weakened. I included more lower level fiends this time though, which helped me with the Necrofear, useful since I haven't played Giant Germs in ... well ... ages.
Anyway good tournament, wish me luck with the plants, BLS is going doooowwnn.
I hope you don't mind me asking, but what are the effects of Silver, Gold and Baron? I know what Begone, Knave! does, but I haven't stayed too updated like I should. Sorry.
