That's right, he's in Nebraska isn't he. Ok, I take back the real men watch NFL comment. No pro sports teams there so college football is all you got. I can understand that as here in KY we just have college basketball. (Which kicks off very very soon) GO UK!
What sport did you play? And what I mean is that the school uses the athletes to get a crap ton of money. And all they need to do is give you free tuition? That's a fair investment considering what they get in return. I'll give you a rather small sum of money (in the grand scheme of things) and in return I get millions in tv contracts and other licensing). Personally, I hate how the schools give the athletes such a cushy ride for being, in large part, a waste of space on a college campus. Not all athletes, but many of them are as dumb as a pail of nails. Is it literally slavery? Obviously no, but they sure got a nice system working in their favor.
I never thought of it as a ME thing, i thought of t as im getting what I NEED and in return im helping the Uni/College pay for facilitys and other sports that other wise would not get funding. Football(which I played) earns 80-90% of revenue that funds ALL college sports. So if you take the selfish view and think about what your NOT getting thats your Issue. I just viewed it as me helping out a place that gave me a chance and gave me what I couldnt get myself.
It was quite an interesting game. The Mafia was all dead by the end of Night 3, and the Cult fakes everyone out for a while. Got a little drawn out towards the end, but learning from those kinds of mistakes only makes mods better =]
What is it about moving that makes it rain? When we moved into our current house it rained as well. Luckily I think I got in the last few boxes right as it began a downpour.
Has there been any announcement as to how many LotR clix will be in the set, and how many boosters will come with each display?
There are to be 21 figures in the booster set. The counter-top display unit is to have 24 single-figure boosters. For the sake of those buying into it, I'm hoping it's as regimented as the first couple gravity feed sets were, and a display will have a complete set of 21 plus 3, non-repeating extras.
The above info was taken from Suttkus' Evidence thread for miscellaneous Clix products this year.
In an effort to be more realistic about my spending, and with the apprehension that I might start to become interested in buying into LotR, Halo, etc. I've been keeping myself away from dials, etc. for now.
Gonna tear up some Tar heels. I WILL be at that game! Going to see the Big Blue All Stars VS The Villains tommorrow night for the wife's birthday. The Villains are headed up by Christian Laettner. Laettner is infamous in KY for hitting a last second shot to win the 1992 Regional Final for Duke and eliminating that year's KY team.
It's like Michael Jordan going to the YMCA to play basketball.
Welcome Charlie (Charles William Cook)! Born 7/14/2011!
