I get kicked out of clubhouses cause I'm not cool enough. But on an unrelated, slightly related note, if we add "Ur" to our sigs, regardless of whether we're correcting them or not, we give 'em some attention. I don't think we should encourage them like that...
Haven, your post about community college in the "Cheese players" thread is repworthy to the point where hitting the rep button isn't adequate acknowledgment.

That's not me bragging. It's done precious little for me. It's nothing to brag about. I'm just stating the facts since you brought it up.
Also, I DID attend Community College before NIU and it irritates me when people down on them. That's not because I went to one and it insults me. It doesn't. As you can see I'm self-depricating when it comes to my collegiate "acheivements". But I think Community College is a great idea for just about everyone. Everyone who I met at NIU who went to a Community College first treated school differently than everyone who went to a four year school straight out of High School; those people treated the University as though it WAS a High School.
This was me. Went to California Lutheran University on scholarships. Effed around as a freshman because I treated college like high school with dorms.
Looked at myself in the mirror toward the end of the year and said, "Damn, my parents want so much better for me and this is the road I'm taking? I can't do this anymore."
I dropped out of Cal Lutheran, moved back with my parents and enrolled in the local community college. Wanted to study Architecture but found Journalism was my calling.
Transferred to Arizona State University and ... first post-college job was working for the Denver Post. I racked up over $30,000 in school loans but didn't ask for any financial help from the parents. They'd done enough; I didn't want to continue being a burden on them.
So yeah, I agree that there's NO shame in someone going to community college.

Screw shame; I consider it a mark of honor.
I was done playing childish games about cliques and clothing and bull earlier than most people I know.
I teach a class at the ice rink for Homeschooled kids and I'm so jealous of the little bastards. I wish I'd had to opportunity to avoid all that BS.
After High School I did Basic Training, came back and started school and the Community College world of wakeup, school, work, sleep repeat was great for me. It was great seeing some people trying to do the High School thing and everyone else being like "I'm too busy for this crap; I have to go to work."
Does that make me the Eternal Warrior for participating in them?
Yeah, it looks like we're back to:
If you want to play fun, Theme teams you should not be playing in Tournaments because tournaments are for crushing your opponent so you can get a plastic figure and hearing the lamentations of the women. Grrrrr! I deserve all the little plastic figures at your venue because you're all wimps and aren't ruthless enough to ignore characters and just build based on stats!
