I have the HDC Starfield mat (on mousepad material) and a bunch I got from a Kickstarter on vinyl.

Do the vinyl ones uncurl properly?

I had some old vinyl maps for CBtech and they curled up on the ends and would not lay flat most of the time.

They do not. But mostly because I keep them in the car and it is on the chilly side. Also because they are kept inside the HDC one so they all fit in the same box so they are rolled tightly.

I make mine on vinyl as well and that is the only problem with them. If they've been rolled up tightly for a good length of time, you have to unroll them and let them relax. I left mine on a flat surface in the warmest room of the house with a bunch of magazines on them for, like, 2 days until they were satisfactory. Of course, this was after having them rolled up for 8 months....
Anyway, I leave them on a flat surface or hanging from a wall with some clips when not in use.

The mousepad ones are pretty nice. Always flat, even when some knucklehead puts yours back in the box so it creases.

Constantine starts in like 20 minutes, you knuckleheads. Make sure you turn it on, even if you are at the computer watching porn or whatever. It may be too late already, but I like the show, and every viewer will help. Maybe. I don't know.


Also, no matter how polite and studious a 6th grade science class is, when they are seeing and hearing this, they will lose it.
Seriously. Penis fencing. No matter boring Planarian and early invertebrates may be, penis fencing will get them every time.

Most of those same 6th graders have me for a social studies class, in which they learned about Queen Tomyris when we were studying the Persian Empire. It's hard to downplay the badassery of a Queen who destroys the biggest army of the greatest empire on the planet, cuts the head off of Cyrus the Great, bathes it in blood, and uses it for a serving cup. Cyrus should not have messed with her son. And she has some awesome quotes to go with it.

So I figure by Tuesday I'll have some bible thumping mom calling me wondering what the hell I'm doing teaching her little angel about penis fencing and a crazed warrior queen who drinks from the head of the vanquished.

Just throw the mom a pointer and have a sword fight of your own.

I got 9 out of 11 Skrulls/shapechange rolls in one game, then got non-flyers stuck between water terrain and KC Flash/ Beyonder in another.

Also I watched Constatine tonight on Television and not on Hulu because my ride/person who has my L5R deck got stuck in Fairbanks. I'm going to check out the show The Slap next week. It's on before Blacklist and I don't watch anything else before it on Thursday. It seems interesting though it's kind of like Gracepoint where it's a remake of a foreign show. The original was from Australia since it's based off a book from an Australian author.

I love the show, but do not think it will get renewed. I watched it that night on Tivo, giving it about a 20 minute head start so I did not have to watch the commercials.
