I wasn't going to break him out yet, but I need to do something to break my streak.

DC in the 70s seems to pale in comparison to the Golden and Silver Age, but it had its high points. One of the most influential things was Jack Kirby's Fourth World stuff. And specifically Darkseid whose gone on to become DC's biggest Big Bad. I don't want to go too overboard with him. I was considering the SLOSH rookie version for 200, but instead I'll keep with our trend of using some of the older versions and use the Vet from Icons for 181.

"Riiiight, you take the redhead throwing boomerangs and I get the stone-face with the God complex. Seems fair," he replies.

"Sarcasm?".

"Bossy and dense both, huh?" Ghost Rider replies.

Batgirl Perplexes her Damage to 3, has a go at the Vision, AV9 on DV15. Gets 11. Imperv is 2. Hey! I did damage! 1 to Vision.

Shade on Vision, AV10 on DV16. Rolls 11. Imperv is 3. 1 more to him.

Captain Boomerang RS to N15, double targets Wanda and Ghost Rider, Perplexing his AV to 11, on DV17 +2 and DV15. Gets 8. Wanda's out of PCing Range, so I'll do the Damage to her, KOing her. Only needs 1, but dealing 1 to Ghost Rider's not much point with his Toughness.

"Tomato, tomahto," Captain Boomerang laughed, "and speaking of tomatoes, I got a present for your wifey right here," he added, throwing a handful of boomerangs at the Scarlet Witch. She tried to use a hex on them to alter their paths, but there were too many and their trajectories too erratic. One, at least, found its mark.

Besides liking Wanda and needing her pc, losing Wanda doesn't get me the new figure I need.

We've a bit of a gap and I wanna try to use as much of my 3500 as possible. I won't do much. I'll much Ghost Rider against Darkseid---trying to incap. Needs 9, rolls 5. 1 to GR.

I guess I deserved that.

Replacing Dr. Strange is the Punisher. He was a big deal coming into Spider-Man in the mid-70s. I'll play the new WK version. Magneto tks him to H15. He plops down a Weapons Cache underneath him and around him. Attacks Boom & Talia. Rolls 7. SS is 4. 3 to Boom.

Vizh makes his av 10, attacks Batgirl. Needs 7, rolls 7. She's out.

"Boomerangs?" the Punisher asks. He lifts his rifle and blasts several of Captain Boomerang's weapons to bits. "...Quaint," he grins.

You need to spread out your caches. They need to be "at least 5 squares from each other and any starting area." It's too easy to pump up Punisher if they're all together like that.

Captain Boomerang on Ghost Rider, using RCE to up his AV to 11, on DV14 +1. Rolls 5. Good enough. He's out.

One of the more enduring Fourth World characters, and one of my favorites, is Mr. Miracle. I'll directly replace Batgirl with the OR Rookie.

He Perplexes Vision's DV to 16, tries to hit him, AV9, needs 7. Gets 12. Wasted, but I'll take it. That's 2 KOs for you.

Shade moves to Q15 for the block.

"Yeah, well it's not giving me the warm fuzzies either," Mr. Miracle said, quickly getting to work to counter the Vision's defenses and shut him down.

"Ain't family reunions just a gas?" Captain Boomerang snickered, watching them. Almost as an afterthought he flicked out a boomerang that knocked the Ghost Rider out cold.
