Why are they so damn greedy?

Why can't I put a bucket of candy out without people thinking this is their chance to "stock up?" When questioned they tell me they are taking "their share." Shouldn't I be the one to determine what a person's share is if I'm giving it out?

I feel like I should just drop a piece or two on each person's desk to thwart the hogs of the group.

Is it weird that this bothers me?

Alternatively, get a big assortment of Jelly Belly beans, but then get one small package of the Bean-Boozled refills and mix that in with them.

It'll all go well until someone gets a taste of sticky socks, rotten eggs, vomit, booger, baby wipes, grass, toothpaste, dog food, moldy cheese, or skunk spray.

I've not tried them as the bean boozled ones, but I had them when they were Harry Potter Bertie Bott's beans. The vomit and grass ones were actually not too bad. I will say, though, that the vomit especially surprised me in its unbadness because it does taste just like vomit.

Since it's our sins we're talking about, I don't think he's ever coming back. There's too much for him to atone for.

According to my wife, it is weird. You are nice enough to provide candy for other people, so it seems that their happiness is your goal. However, you are upset when some people take more than you think that they should, when that's what they need to be happy. She agrees that it's rude, but your internal conflict makes it weird.

As for me, I don't think it's weird. It's a fun thing to share candy, but people taking more than they should make it not fun. I'd put up a little sign stating the limits, and warning that those who break the rules will be cut-off.

I will add to annoyances. If you get one of those 100 piece mixed bags of milk duds, snickers and heath bar, you usually get 50 milk duds, 30 snickers, and 20 heath bars. Pretty soon you are down to 50 milk duds because everyone takes mulitple snickers or heath bar.

Why are mixed bags of candy not equal?!?

People dislike Milk Duds that much? If I was to take multiples of any of those, it would definitely be Milk Duds.

I don't usually get those bags to avoid the piles of Whoppers that are always left.
