Assuming a champed/completed 5* Prof, I think the extra damage and such would offset the risks on self-sabotage.

One "positive" thing I will say about this fiasco is that my biggest fear of the situation is somewhat not coming to pass.
I feared that the early essential would wind up meaning I'd not get my usual T50 for a 4*, but so far it looks like few enough people snagged him that it's not making a difference as so few people (maybe 20) are able to get those points.
Now, there is still tomorrow. IIRC, he's getting a store midway during the day. That could mean many more people getting him before sub 3 ends for me. If I fail to be among them, then I may be toast.

Was falling asleep playing the game recently when I was starting to open the tokens from the Hela or Emperor Doom events and then meandered into the LLs. Needless to say I opened more than I wanted. The interesting/odd thing is that all of my 4*s were unrostered toons but I pulled 2 5torm and an Ic5man so I can't complain.

Thanks to the help from earlier in the thread I have a better idea of what 4*s to keep if roster space is a problem but still no Bishop, Vulture, or America Chavez.

I have been wondering something about Bishop. I think I may have made a bit of a mistake with mine by leveling him up a bit.
As he gets higher levels the threshold of when he jumps to the front increases making him less likely to do the job I want him to do.

He still gets the job done if you go against 5*s.

Yeah, but I cherry pick the weak, so he's no help there.

I am finding him to be a pretty good friggin' scarecrow, though.

I did most of my Simulator climbing with Gritty-mora, but then finished up with a Gritty-shop to leave on defense, and I've hardly been touched. I think I pushed up to 2000+ last weekend. Since then I've only been knocked down to 1972 points.

I don't need Strange or Banner, but I decided to try and get a Professor.
I got one (purple) in 5 pulls.
Talos, X-23, 5* Banner, Nico, 5* Professor.

Nice...i got my Chuck and hit his nodes in unstable is for the final sub. I am now sitting at #13 for the event.

I had 300 CP and spent it all trying to get Chuck. Instead got 3 5* Stranges. In the middle of the pulls also got an LL that got me another Storm, so she and Rescue are both at 11 covers now. Seems like I'll finish Storm with no issue, but Rescue might need to wait for a feeder.

REALLY hoping Iceman and Prof X get their respective feeders as well.

Thining of feeders, I un-bh'ed my PP Spider-Man because my Vulture is nearing 340 (335). The blue Spidey cover will get him to 13 @ 5/5/3.

I have been completing my non-13s with BHs starting with the ones closest to 13 and working down. It is a hit or miss method as there is a tendency for those to not need as many covers. (Like, trying to complete a 5/2/5 with BHs means that if I do get a BH, then there's only a 1/3 shot of it being the one I need, but doing it with a 3/3/3 would mean any BH would be good.) It works ok in my book.

I am down to just 5 classic 5*'s under 13 covers.

Spidey (PP) @ 4/5/3 - Fed by Vulture...5 covers to 5/5/3.
Wasp @ 5/2/5 - Fed by Ant-Man, but I'm 37 AM covers from getting the cover that will complete her.
Doc Ock @ 3/5/3 - Fed by Carnage, but I'm 20 covers from 4/5/3 and then 20 more covers to hit 4/5/4, so 40 total.
Hela @ 3/3/5 - Fed by nobody currently, but when she gets a feeder, I only need that feeder to be at 300+ to get her to 4/4/5.
Spidey (BIB) @ 5/1/1 - Fed by Spidey (IW), but while he's only 2 covers from feeding to 5/2/1, it will take 60 more covers to get to a still incomplete 5/3/3.

For setting my 5* BH, now I need to decide which one(s) to BH.
I'll probably go with Wasp, even though she has the worst odds, just to get her done.

STRONGLY discourage BH'ing Wasp.

Imagine actually getting a 5* BH and it's friggin' Wasp?! That's a self-given junk-shot. Don't do it.

Either Hela or BiB would be better options.

I see your point, but I'd see Hela as a wasted BHing since she'll undoubtedly get a feeder eventually, and that feeder should complete her @ 300.
BIB is a good option, but he is furthest from being complete, so I'd look at that as a junk shot, too. Like I got a BH, but it puts me barely closer to completing someone.

Besides...everyone laughed at me when I champed 4* Wasp in spite of everyone advising against it. Then they went and redid her about a week later. I figure that'll happen again.

Woo...I did manage to get 20th. This new method seems to have worked in my favor, but I still do not like it. If I was in an earlier slice, it definitely would not have worked this way for me, and that seems unbalanced. (People in earlier slices would not have been able to get him from the Strange/Banner/Xavier store.)

Did anyone else take that survey for the anniversary of MPQ and think you were going to get something from it?

I thought I'd get at least a Devil Dinosaur cover.
