There was a big water-main break here early Friday morning, so I get to work @ 0615 and after having the building and eventually most of downtown closed down, go home and work from home. Any day I can work from my deck is a good day.
Saturday I assembled some furniture for my parents (Adult Legos) and went home and did some work in and outside the house preparing for the evening of friends and neighbors coming over to hang out and watch football on the deck.
(If I have not mentioned this, I built a 25x16 ft deck on the back of my house, complete with a 43 in TV. We spend a lot of time out there. I should get some pics of it up and post them here. Give me a day or 2.)
So about 6pm people start arriving, mostly to hang out and consume adult beverages. People come and go from about then till somewhere about 0230 Sunday morning. Uber came and went from my house 3 or 4 times at least. So much alcohol.
One neighbor who had broken up with his GF the previous Sunday got back together with her and had a NSFW moment in our guest bathroom.
There are a lot more details about Saturday night that are not quite appropriate for this forum, but a good time was had by all, at the time, I am sure based on how my wife felt the next morning that others also had issues, not that it will stop any of us next Saturday.
Including my wife and I we had 16 different people over at various times.
I rolled into bed at 0230, and got up at 8, still mostly drunk, to get my youngest ready to attend church with the In-laws, they picked her up at 0830. Then go clean up the back of the house as we were meeting a friend and her kids at the pool for a day of swimming starting at 1130.
Pool time was fun and a good chance to nap, chat and dry out a bit in the sun was needed.
Locked my keys inside my car tonight at work like a big ole dummy, had to call my girlfriend at 1 in the morning to bring me my spare keys. She came through like a super hero, but, I dreaded waking her up.
Wishing for competitive Judge Dredd figures for Modern Age...WizKids are you listening?!?!

Yeah, it happens. There have been plenty of times I had to go buy something for the wife at odd hours because she wasn't feeling well. I think the least fun to buy is pedialyte.

A friend of mine locked his keys in his car once while getting gas, he had also left the car running. He was at the station near his house so he just walked back to get his spare keys, while the pump was still going. He did not tell the attendant what was happening and arrived back to the police trying to open his car.
When I was in college, and I think it was within the first week or so of my arriving, I drove myself and a friend to a grocery store.
We get out of the store and come back to find my car on and locked. Luckily some guys in the parking lot had a coat hanger and helped me break into my car. No one batted an eye.

You didn't actually wake her up, but that's nice of you to worry.
