To celebrate my 49th year as the scurge of the cosmos and the assassin of reality, I went to work. There's only 6 of us that work 2nd shift, so we had a pizza party in my honor and some Carvel ice cream cake. I even got some gifts. One co-worker got me a Venom t-shirt (comic not the band) and a pound of coffee. While another got me an electric lighter and some ear buds. The wife revamped my spring wardrobe with 10+ new Marc Ecko shirts and several pairs of his shorts. She topped all that off, with 10 pairs of novelty socks, my favorite being skeletal hands giving the middle finger. I treated myself to some Heroclix grails from T&T. Ultra chase Peggy Carter and prime FF Ghost Rider being the highlights. I have plans to play in 5 WW80 tournaments between this weekend and next, normally, I try to limit 1 tournament per weekend, to not put stress on my relationship with the wife, but, for my birthday I'm allowed to get a little nuts.
