Wakanda Man. Quote
"Being on top of elevated blocking terrain does not give him LOS to people on the ground."
I played at a local tournament....
a) where (applying logic) Resident Judge allowed a player to shoot my clix out this type of elevated terrain.
b) And yet there are games, where people say U cannot shoot or be shot as it is elevated blocking terrain. (E.g. There is a wall around the water tower because of the black lines drawn on a map.)
c) Some people may not even allow a clix to move there.
I made my move there believing it would give me a better position to shoot (Snipe) Smurfs. I guess I should have clarified this with ALC before moving there.
*** ALC what is your call.
As this is the map U creted.... I will go with what U rule.
a) Can Lifewire and Saturn Girl shoot out of this elevated terrain ?
b) Can clixs be shot if they are placed there from a lower elevation ?
c) Can Livewire be shot from a clix U 46 ?
d) Can clixs move up there in the first place ?
Choon Hui - Wakandaman is correct. The General FAQ talks about it under the blocking terrain heading. Those characters are effectively on the rooftop level for purposes of LOS so all they can see are rooftop level characters because they are not at the edge of the elevated terrain.
Because that attack was illegal the second two actions stand. (The healing and the Atom's attack.)
Doom's Medic - Is K-T-W-T-D Smurf in X44 or X47? I had the Smurf in X47. I think the X44 was a typo because he couldn't attack the civilian from there.
Richard - Which Smurf did Deathstroke plug? There are two basing him, I18 and G20.
New maps out soon.

I don’t know whats going on, but I wasn’t receiving emails from hcRealms even though I am subscribed to this thread. Weird. That’s why I am so late with my turn.
Sinister Syndicate Turn 7
Blizzard running shots to II23 and does a Pulse wave attack. Rolls a 7. Smurfs at EE22, EE23 II26, GG26 & FF22 take a click. Smurf at JJ25 takes a click and is now on 2 clicks. Smurf at JJ19 takes a click and is KO’d.
Doctor Octopus moves to FF23.

Smurf Actions:
Smurf H34 moves to G33.
Smurf H33 attacks Black Cat. 7AV vs 15DV = need an 8. Roll a 9. (5 + 4) Hit. Reroll for probability control: 4 (3 + 1, I don’t think PC was allready used was it?)
Smurf AA47 attacks car at BB46 and it is now on 2 damage.

K-T-W-T-D smurf moved in turn 6 from X-47 to X-44, so he was in X-44 at the start of turn 7, close enough to roll that critical ......miss. Doh!

I made a promise to Matt Murdock to wear his mask....I've fought this war in his place.....And I'll continue to do so.
But I haven't forgotten who I am...and soon it will be time to carry my own burdens again.
If you can put it in a story post somehow your offer of alliance from the Syndicate to the JLA, then I will consider it. I don't see them working together, but you may convince me otherwise. :P
Also FYI, Black Cat was no longer adjacent to the Smurf in H33. She leap/climbed away last turn.
Choonhui- Elevated Blocking terrain IS a confusing issue indeed. I play it in a similar way to the way normal elevated terrain works. You can shoot from the edge of it down to other people...but only to other people on the roof. Therefor Alfred can shoot someone at GG48 or II46. But he cannot shoot anyone at the ground level, since the edge of the roof is cutting off his view to there. It also seems to make the most sense to me.
Your interpretation of it, while understandable, would leave it open to a lot of abuse by flyers and leap/climbers.
I will be moving shortly....

I found a map error ALC (had to happen eh?). Claustrophobic Smurf (E45) was double teamed by Venom and Paramedic and KOed last turn, but he's still on the map.
Anyway, on with the show....
-----------------------------------------
Flash ran out and clocked the Smurf that had been called Baker Smurf...but as he did he noticed that he was wearing glasses instead of an apron. Flash did a double take, but as he looked again at the Smurf falling unconscious, the glasses vanished and the apron and rolling pin returned.
"Well that was.... strange."
Candlestick Maker Smurf let out a yell and toddled after the Flash, promptly recieving two arrows in the bottom for drawing attention to himself.
Plastic Man noticed the old man sitting on a chair on the other side of the bullet proof plexi glass inside the bank. "Hmmm...well that ain't good. That glass is designed to withstand bullets. Oh well...I am the most powerful member of the Justice League...what's that to me."
Morphing his arms into an enormous jackhammer he set to work on the window.
RATATATATATATATATATATAT!
To the astonishment of the old man and the remaining bank teller, a perfect sized hole appeared where he had been attacking it. Turning himself into an escalator that reached across the counter, Plas beckoned Mr. Rottenbaum across.
"Step right up Old-timer, Step right up. The Plastic Man express is at your service!"
Rottenbaum huffed and got out of his chair. "Rassafrappin' technology. Back in my day, stairs had to be climbed not just stood upon. And they were each five feet high, not like these puny steps" The old man hobbled onto Plas, prodding at him with his cane.
"Hey?! Who you calling puny? And watch it with the stick there buddy."
Meanwhile, the teller stumbled out of the hole in the bank. Once he got clear of the rubble, he spotted Aquaman. "My my, he is a rugged fellow isn't he. Just look at those muscles..."

(Note that I included moves from last turn in my story)
Plastic Man perplexes his own damage to 3 and destroys the wall (well window actually) at Y10.
Citizen Rottenbaum (Y12) moves to Y10 (free move).
Teller 1 (V4) moves to S1. (free move).
The rest pass and clear.

Papa Smurf couldn't believe his eyes. That hairy one had come back from virutally nothing.
"Smurf! He's a tough blighter! Well if I cannot destroy, I shall use him to destroy his sorceress...she is the most dangerous to my plans." Casting an incantantion from his book, Logan's eyes turned dull and he turned to face Heather and growled.
Immediately recognising what had happened, Moondragon used her mental powers to try and return Logan's mind to his own control.
"You must help me fight it Logan...you can do it!" She said as she added her will to his. She saw his arm swinging towards her in his mind, and dodged to the left before it came. Then he swung again, and she dodged to the right, glad that she had already been inside Logan's head. If those blows had caught her unawares....she hated to think.
With one last burst of concentration, she forcibly removed Papa Smurf's influence from Logan's mind, causing the bearded Smurf leader to fall on his backside due to the psychic backlash. Wiping his forehead with a towel, Papa breathed heavily. "The sorceress is more powerful than I thought. Smurfs, she takes top priority from now on! Smurf her out at all costs!"
Meanwhile, Competitve Smurf charged up the stairs ahead of Average Smurf. Spotting a female human nearby he ran across to her, yelling to Average behind him "I bet I can smurf her more than you can!"
Huffing loudly as he reached the top the stairs, Average Smurf called after him weakly. "What the smurf are you talking about?"
----------------------------------------
Papa Smurf mind controls Logan. 11 AV vs. 15 DV. Needs a 4. Rolls a 5 (2+3).
Logan attacks Moondragon. AV of 10 vs. DV of 16. Needs a 6. Rolls an 8 (5+3). Moondragon Super Senses- Rolls a 6! D'oh!
Logan uses Flurry to try again. AV of 10 vs. DV of 16. Needs a 6. Rolls a 9 (4+5). Moondragon Super Senses- 6 again! Unbelievable!
Smurf at G49 moves to F45.
Smurf at H46 moves to F46.
Oh and Papa Smurf will Outwit Spidey's Super Strength again.
Christ did not come to condemn the world, but to save it.
Just a question (and no I have not looked back through the posts to see), isn't this turn Team Evil's turn to use Pappa Smurf? I'm glad Moondragon is okay, although I thought two smurfs moved into LOS on this, but I thought Team Good just used him last turn to attack Logan. Maybe I'm thinking a couple turns back. Hmmm?
my move wont be until later after i get home from work...around 6ish pst...i know thats cutting it close for the deadline....but having to have the moves in by 9 est is tough when i cant do my moves at work....im hoping i can get home before 6.
