I really like that Ghostrider. He may not be that well represented, but playwise he seems cool. I think I'd have him on every team if he hadn't that activation clic. Maybe I'll use him in combination with a PWer.
The new Spidey is cool, too. The Vet is quite well represented an really cheap.
I'm not that impressed by Cap like everyone else seems to be. He IS good. But he is expensive for what he does. The Range could be better. Who need's that Leadership? Upfront Outwit or EW would have ruled. And only 3 Damage for only one clic?

None of us ever complained that he'd be unplayable due to bad stats. But some people (like me) play this game for fun which we get from playing our favorite characters. I cannot get verymuch fun from a Ghost Rider with Smoke Cloud, because it is complete and utter nonsense if you ever read a GR story.
I would equally complain if he did 8 clicks of damage and had impervious all the way down his 12 clicks of life. Would he rock? Yes Would it be GR? No...and that's all that counts for me. Nuff said!

But GR are one of the 3 figures I hate So I really dont care about GR!

GO Morbius, that's telling it. Ghost Rider is horribly represented. Charege should be Hypersonic. Smoke cloud should be super strengthor physic blast.Toughness should be at least invulnerablity.

For all the GR fans out there that feel their favorite character was stiffed...I feel for ya'. You'll just have to give it some time...maybe a new version will come out later down the road...or maybe there will be an LE Johnny Blaze or Zadarkos (or whatever his demon name was) that will better represent him. Us Cap fans have been waiting for a CA update from the very beginning of the game after all.

Charge should be hypersonic? So Ghost Rider on his bike should be equal to the speed and mobility of Flash, Nightcrawler, Black Adam and Superman?

I believe the demon's name is Zarathos. Yeah. I'm pretty happy with everyone. Cap is awesome (if just a bit undercosted), Wolvie is Wolvie. How many different ways can you do him anyway? Same goes for Spidey. There is a charging Wolvie already (the Berserker brown costume version) anyway. Doc Ock could be better but at least he's fairly cheap and has Sinister Syndicate. And weak or not something always has to be said for front loaded Outwit.

But I would REALLY like to hear the explanation for giving Ghost Rider Smoke Cloud. Overall he's still a great fig for his cost. 4 base damage was a whole lot more than I was expecting. Not to mention the 12 movement with Charge. But like everyone says. Exploit Weakness was MADE for Ghost Rider and that's been repeated OVER and OVER since the power was ever released. Make that 2 damage near the end of his dial stick no matter who he's attacking. And I also figured Regeneration was a given. Psychic Blast for his pretty much unstoppable Hellfire might be pushing it but it makes more sense than Smoke Cloud does. He doesn't need Super Strength though. I think Spider-Man can bench more than Ghost Rider can. And definitely not Hypersonic.

But if you dropped Smoke Cloud all together and gave him Exploit Weakness on his last 3 or so clicks and I'd be happy.

I don't know GR too well from a comic-book standpoint, but sure, I thought he would have HSS.. perhaps he isn't as fast as those characters, but he should be able to do a ride-by chain attack (I imagine he's done something like that in books, right?)..

And, I've heard folks mention his 'Penance Stare'.. I don't know what this does, exactly, but might the close combat option for HSS represent it, at least better than what he's given?

...by no means an expert, just wondering what true GR fans think..

Btw, sorry if this has been covered, but I thought the white cone base represented a kind of permanent L/C..? Why does Spidey have it printed on his speed? Seems Flurry would have been a nice thing (if the cone is in fact L/C), or maybe early Charge to simulate his famous 'swinging dropkick' entrances? Webhead could swing right over dumpsters n' whatever, delivering a 'surprise' blow to the villain! As is, it seems his speed clix may as well be empty....

I'm very pleased with the Ultimate Captain America. You've got to admit that he totally makes sense - why Wizkids never does the willpower for him is because it would completely disregard his shield. His "willpower" is now represented in all of his anti-stealth, anti-brick, anti-everything abilities. He's really going to stomp, especially on wildcard teams!

Ghost Rider - so he's lacking that penance stare? Sort of, I'd have approved of psychic blast. But really the high damage and nice charge make up for it.

Ultimate Wolvie is sort of alright, but sort of a "beginner" piece. We've all seen Blades/Claws/Fangs before. Each Wolverine piece is centered around it. This is "completely offensive, no defense" Wolvie.

Ultimate Doc Oc is alright, but nothing much special.

And to me the total winner here is Ultimate Spider-Man! What a great representation of Spider-ness. The veteran?!?!? WHA! It's awesome. I'm surprised that people haven't been going nuts over this veteran! It's a total value with that Spider-Man TA. Just think of the possibilities!

I find it really interesting that no one seems to be too impressed with Dock Ock. Supermobile Outwit (for those few points) are greatly appreciated. After this figure, I would think people would be fools to play R Black Panther over the R Dock Ock. I think the Vet is a really solid piece, and I can't wait to play him in the Marquee (I'll definately be hitting 3-4 of them... I'll buy my packs after that).
