Can you imaging what how good future FF games will look once SE starts using the Unreal engine?

I hope Final Fantasy 13 comes out for Xbox 360 as well as PS3......If it's just gonna be PS3 I'm not sure I'll get it, since I don't have a PS3 & I don't see myself buying one anytime soon (unless they remake FF7 for it of course ). I also hope to borrow a friends PSP so I can at least try Crisis Core. I don't plan on getting a PSP either. I already have a DS & that is enough for me on current portable systems.

There's a large consumer back-lash going against Sony right now. You are not the only one who feels this way, believe me.

Demo! NEWS ga aru yo!

As I'm sure you've all heard about, the PSP is getting another exclusive FF title, no... it's not the FF Tactics you were thinking.. it's Final Fantasy: Dissidia! What is it you ask? Five words: Smash Brothers, Final Fantasy Style! So far all that I've seen are characters from FFVII, FFXII, but I'm sure there's going to be alot more.

As for FFXIII, we may be waiting a bit longer than previously presumed (it's Squeenix right?). At the recent SE Party, they had recently announced that they will need a bit more time in order to develop the game fully, estimations for release are roughly Dec '08 at this time.

Ok, and for toys/figures? The 19" Sephiroth and Cloud figures (roughly 1/4 scale) are similar to SideShow Collectibles' style of "premium format" figures, whereby they have fabric clothing on a rigid statue.

And for you Play Arts fanatics (like myself), you'll be pleased to hear they're expanding the Advent Children line, don't believe me? Look for yourself!

Those will have an estimated December release.

And for those of you interested in picking up those polystone statues of Cloud/Sephiroth, www.hlj.com is having a sale for them right now, mind you it's quite steep, 17800 yen or so, but it IS a markdown from the retailed 23000+ yen.

Lastly, it seems the Masterpiece Weapon replicas are now available, I've seen them at a local shop (though quite pricey, approx $30 US). As well as a Die-cast miniature replica (probably 1:10 scale or something) of Fenrir. As well as the miniature Highwind (FFVII). Those were slightly more expensive (approx. $35).

I realize this is technically unrelated, since it's Konami, but for those of you who are Castlevania fans, Castlevania Series 1 is scheduled to hit in August (though I expect some delays as there's only concept art at this time). Series 1 includes: Simon Belmont, Dracula, Succubus, and of course Alucard. There's also an exclusive SDCC 3" 'pixel' (looks like oldschool NES graphics) Simon figure.

Thanks for the warning about Hobbyfan. I hate to post a link to a stinker, it was the first picture I found. I am a HUGE Castelvania fan. I suspect that there will be a delay for those figures (still waiting for Gwar figures that were suppost to be out in May). I wonder if Succubus was have undies on? I don't think she was wearing any in SotN.
