With the debut of thornn, we just need masque and phantazia to finish off toad's brotherhood. Masque sgould show up eventually in an honest-to-goodness morlocks subtheme, but phantazia feels like a longshot

I believe the card was shown by Scott during his unboxing video (2 or 3?), yes those are Deadpool, Merc with a Mouth's keywords. The thinking is that since his dial and powers are SO good for 70pt they gave him meh keywords to balance it.

nah, they just screwed up the card and gave him the kids keywords. we will get a new card at some point in time.

You are correct in that that's what's on the card, but the KWs don't match him at all, but are the same as wizkids. And the significant appearance is from a comic that he not only wasn't ever in, but came out 3 years before he was a character. It also just so happens to be wizkid's first appearance.

From the two cases I saw, there was a Chase, and an Ultra Chase.

2 cases at my prerelease... Ultra chase and regular chase.

I'm genuinely curious as to what his keywords should be, if this is truly the case.

Who are the small characters on the sculpt of #060? Punisher, Terror (Inc.) and Tombstone?

We opened a case tonight, and Championpool and R Prime Deadpool got pulled. No other chases or primes. Really disappointed that the chases aren't one per brick.

Otherwise, this set is a hell of a lot of fun! That Cable is brutal, and I almost won the tournament tonight with him. I pulled Mistress Death and got the rarer pieces I wanted tonight. Also, U-Go Girl is a champ. Never leaving my XF teams!

Oh, like we got new Proteus cards?

The Proteus card is in the new monthly OP kit. A bit late, but it does exist, at least.

Seems obvious that the Planepool has the wrong keywords. Annoying that nobody at WK has seen fit to at least acknowledge it, especially since it was revealed in an officially sanctioned unboxing video.

6 SR, one chase, one prime in my shop's pre-release case.

Of course it could just be keeping with Wizkid's tradition of being terrible with keywords. Negasonic Teenage Warhead has the X-Men keyword in this set, even though she was never on the X-Men.

While the keywords are so assuredly not what is supposed to be on the card, why do others that they'll replace the card? Two other incidents they have replaced the card (one of which is still forthcoming) but in both of those cases the cards screwed up actual powers making the pieces completely unplayable without a correct card. This piece, however, just has screwed up keywords which Wizkids does on a frequent basis. These screw ups are simply more obvious due to them belonging to another character within the set. So don't expect a new card based solely on wrong keywords.....

After Manhunter, Jakeem, & Hydro-Man, it's so nice to see a set release that doesn't have any primes that I want <3
