Bait Doll never worked for me. Been more of a Trunade fan. Tested the rest and have settled for this.
Then again Jinzo and Breaker are still on Ha Des' roster in my deck.
The non-fiends I'm currently debating are DDWL and Cyber Jar. I've always liked Cyber Jar, for it's added mass-removal, and re-filling of my hand. DDWL is so handy though... Decissions decissions.
Cyber Jar>DDWL, DDWL looks nowhere near a fiend xD
@dillie-O: Are those Divine Wraiths working for you? 8^D xD
Divine Wrath has been quite successful for me. Maybe it was a kinship before the card came out, but I was itching for this one.
Here's a few typical scenarios I like to use with it..
You wanna break that face down S/T? Well, go to the grave instead.
You wanna use that MJ flip? Well, go to the grave instead.
You want you BLS to RFP Dark Ruler? Well, go to the grave instead.
You want that TER to suck up my fiend? Well, go to the grave instead.
You want that Emissary to search for that last piece of Exodia? Well, stay in the grave instead.
This list can go on and on 8^D Let's face it, the game is dominated by effects and most of them are triggers. Yeah, most of those examples are vs. the standard cookie cutter, but that is why its that much nastier. I've always been a big fan, just like Wall of Illusion, but I guess that's why I'm a little warped 8^D

Which is why Death Calibre Knight will be a favorite of mine. (once we get it over here, of course)
Anywho, my weekend with my fiend zombie project was average to above average. I made top 8 in the smaller tourney on saturday, only getting eliminated when we had to do a sudden death. (dimension wall is a pain!)
My sunday tournament was also a bit above average. Those who go to Neutral Grounds know that the tourneys there are 5 rounds with no top 8. I went 3-2, losing only to the common CCChaos decks. Specifically though, i lost to the soldier. you know the one......=/. Anywho, i look forward to the new list and hope it isn't too different from what the ocg has. My deck will be more powerful then, imo.
I hope you don’t mind me switching fiendish subjects so quickly, but I wanted to re-review a card that I was frantic about ever since I heard of it. (Believe me, Squid would know.) The card is:
ECTOPLASMER
Yes, this card has been out for a while, but I’m preparing to seriously run a deck around it again! This card gives off heavy field control and life point damage every turn! Run three, and no face-down monsters will stay alive! Here are a few other cards, some old and new!
MALICE DOLL OF DEMISE
This card was made for Ectoplasmer! Use this card, tribute it, then let it return to you! This would allow you to keep your other monsters on the field, while your opponent keeps sacrificing.
NOBLEMAN OF CROSSOUT
This card is used to prevent your opponent from taking the easy way out. Now, there are other cards that could be permanent, but I won’t run them because they are continuous and would possibly affect me, too.
DES WOMBAT
Although this card is not a fiend, this card would (I think) save the damage that my opponent tries to inflict to me. If not, then…. Meh.
GOBLIN ELITE ATTACK FORCE and GIANT ORC
The two buffed-up fiends! These two will attack, go to defense, then inflict an additional 1100 life points directly. Also, they would be used for Necrofood in the end…
DARK NECROFEAR
Fiend staple. Simple as that.
SWORDS OF REVEALING LIGHT
This little number will flip up all the opponent’s monsters and protect me from attacks for three turns. That means that the only way they could damage me would be through Ectoplasmer.
CURSED SEAL OF THE FORBIDDEN SPELL or JUDGEMENT OF ANUBIS
Eternal protection from magic or more monster damages. I’ll let you guys help me out on the decision…
GIANT GERM
More burnage and Necrofood. I love it!
The rest is the obvious Pot of Greed and Lightning Vortex. Otherwise, do you guys have any fiendish ideas? The more help, the merrier!
ah too bad for not winning, but you did seem to have fun, and it's about having fun in life right=/
btw: check out my deck in my sig xD
EDIT
I think this thread discussed that card a year ago, try to search this thread for it, anyway my 2 cents:
~Messenger Of Peace; By far my fav stall card, use and stop w/e u want.
~Des Wombat; He works =/ Run 3 in this ''suicide'' burn...
~I would make a stall deck with that as your burning engine instead of a normal deck with that splashed in.
~Dark Room of Nightmare; 800+300 = 1100 per turn, that's nice to say the least.
~Snake Syndrome; This, along with Wombat, gives your opponent LOADS of pressure, which means more room for mistakes, which means you win xD.
All I could think of, I'm rather hungry at the moment....
I know that it has been posted about a year ago, but I wish to look at it again. There are newer cards out (like Goblin Elite Attack Force) that can change the use of this! Also, I would prefer to make this an offensive one. That is why you see GEAF and Giant Orcs. They hit for 2200 damage, then finish up with an additional 1100. 3300 damage with only two cards (one that you're not parting with, either)!
ugh! Remind me again that I dont own an Ectoplasmer, STILL! *~fuming~* This is one of the only cards I have bothered proxying, in recent memory, because I love the effect.
If the Japanese list holds true, then these kinds of decks are slightly weakened by the loss of Ring of Destruction.
Definitely run 3 Malic Doll, because all the monsters you run for this kind of deck are going to be too large in attack for Last Will and battle searchers.
Also, when Ectoplasmer was released and first discussed, I dont believe that Brain Control had yet to be released. Now there is that to encourage stealing monsters and tributing off for Ectoplasmer. (dont confuse with Mind Control, which cannot be tributed)
Running 3 Orcs and 3 GEAF definitely allows for increased Necrofear decking.
After that, its a game of stall and wait. You want to protect Ectoplasmer and, if at all possible, keep your opponent's monsters to a minimum. The ways to do that range greatly from Offerings to the Doomed and Share the Pain, to Ectoplasmer's 2nd effect, to Different Dimension Gate, to Narrow Pass, to.....aw, who can remember?
alongside Des Wombat, don't forget the earlier trap version of it, with Pikeru's Circle of Enchantment.
and.....that's it for now. I can't say that a whole lot of new stuff has been released for Ectoplasmer. At least in the way of Fiends. If you really want, dont forget about what Cyber Dragon does.
In fact, seeing as Cyber Dragon is so popular, Ectoplasmer decks might be even LESS viable than they were before *sigh*
You know, when we first thought of Ectoplasmer, I don't think we were able to pull up the full entourage of cards that you mentioned. That REALLY looks playable with those in mind. Des Wombat will for sure keep you alive as long as you make sure he's not the lone gunman 8^D
One thought I had....Cyber Archfiend. You can use it as a 2K defender for a turn, then at the end phase if you have some extra monsters, you can make a choice. A) Ditch Cyber Archfiend when you have cards in hand since he was going to die anyway and get some added use out of him, or B) Let him sit a turn when you have no cards in hand and get some refreshment next turn.
I would LOVE to see a build of this when you're done NinjaDuelist!
ooh, I forgot Mystic Wok. The deck is aimed at tributing, your monsters will have high attack or defence, you will most likely be abusing Necrofear, Brain Control, and Snatch Steal, and your opponent will be having just as much fun trying to burn you so LP gain is a positive thing.
I like that idea with Cyber Archfiend, Dillie. I can see that working really well in this deck.
Going with what Squid said about keeping your opponent's monster counts down, I'm thinking things like the various types of Trap Holes (Bottomless, Acid, Regular, etc.), Ground Collapse and Ojama Trio could be another route for limiting monsters. I.E., instead of destroying them, keep them from getting to the field in the first place.
EDIT: Was looking through RONIN and found a few other cards that can help this deck.
Kaiser Coliseum - Your opponent can't summon more monsters than you have on field.
Infinite Dismissal - Side deck option moreso than main deck. Destroys all Level 3 or lower monsters at the End Phase.
Rivalry of Warlords - Opponent can only summon one type of monster. This will only work if it's not a theme deck that you're playing.
Fatal Abacus - Does extra damage to both players when Ectoplasmer's effect triggers.
Coffin Seller - Like above, but less extra damage and only for the opponent.
Chain Destruction/Chain Disappearence - Good for cards run in multiples.
And last but definitely not least, the kicker:
SOUL EXCHANGE! Three more times that you'll be able to grab the opponent's monster! And it does work with Ectoplasmer. Only downside is that you skip your battle phase.
Don't worry, for I won't let you down! BTW, do you think Judgement of Anubis is a worthy card of playing, since it will protect my Ectoplasmers and eliminate a few threats on my opponent's side of the field? I think I'll run one, at least...

With mst limited& HS at one while only some players play Dust..no xD
Yeah, I'd have to agree with no1ulike on this one. I remember when my arch-nemesis pulled the secret rare one of these and had it in his deck itching to use it, I don't think he ever got a chance to and that was when you could still run 2 MSTs 8^D With MST and Heavy storm the only two popular spell cards I can think of in use. I think you may miss the timing too much on it. However, if you were running maybe a pair of Magic Jammers in the mix, you may be able to keep Judgement in the corner pocket if timing plays nicely or simply use it for discard cost.
